Checking in on the kids

Homesteading on raw land with a pack of lamancha milking goats, a flock of heritage turkeys, Easter egged chickens and two rez pups.
We have started to band their horns. We’ve decided to disbud 6 out of the 10 kids. This was crucial to their health. Injuries have started between some older ones that we didn’t disbud. Hindsight.
