Thanks for sharing! GoPro? That’s one of the downsides of the GoPro, i feel like the colors in real life were probably amazing. But the GoPro seems to mute a lot of it.
The tailwind takeoff is to avoid the mountain the plane would face if they took off the opposite way. Maybe if the plane was lighter, it would be possible, but with a fully loaded A330 bound for Paris, the decreased airflow over the wings in tailwind more than weighs up for not having to avoid a mountain directly after takeoff.
@@theaviationchannel7737 agree, but i also saw 737's bound for MIA taking off the same directions, and i'm not sure but i think there is not a lot of cargo from SXM to MIA and the fuel burn from SXM to MIA is like 6 tons or less for a 737
Beautiful footage. Can't wait to return to my favourite Island in March :) ! It's been too long.

Yeah that's true. The GoPro mutes the colors a bit unfortunately
Very 20 seconds the a330s will takeoff from SXM because the beach in front of the runway the engine of the plane takeoff in a full blast✈✈✈✈
