Thank you! i unchecked that option (separate contacts list) then hit refresh for contacts in app, problem solved. Second thing, phone can eliminate permissions from your second whatsapp if you are not using it often or if you reinstall.

Hi thanks it really helped. One more thing my second WhatsApp is not working properly. I cant download any media, cant send any pictures. The error camera failed and unable to download media always come. I have given all the permissions and also reinstalled the 2nd WhatsApp but still the issue persists. I have no issues on my main WhatsApp application which is on same phone. Only problem is coming with the second WhatsApp. It all started after the software update I got for my s21 plus. Currently I have the latest android software on my s21plus but the problem on my second WhatsApp is not going away

The trick with separate contact list did work for me but first I had to do one more extra thing Settings --> Apps --> Whatsapp (dual) --> permissions --> disallow contacts and immediately allow again ! (Samsung Galaxy S22)
