Walking Tour of Madrid, Spain in 4k.
Join me as I explore the incredible capital city of Spain, Madrid.
Starting infront of the city hall and the Cibeles fountain we will walk along the Gran Via, passing the Callao Square and taking in the architecture along the way up until the end of the Gran Via in the Plaza de España.
From there we will walk to the Royal Palace, the Opera and get to the Puerta del Sol where we will take the Mayor street to the Plaza Mayor with it Christmas market.
We will continue walking to end up in the Cathedral of the Almudena, next to the Royal Palace.
This will be the last video of the year, so I take this oportunity to thank all of you who watched these videos and wish you a merry christmas and prosperous new year.

Una consulta : en Madrid o España cae nieve en navidad?

Depende de dónde. En la costa, nunca. En las montañas, siempre. En el resto, depende. En Madrid-ciudad lo más probable es que nieve un par de veces al año, como mucho, normalmente en enero o febrero, y que no llegue a cuajar. Casos como el de Filomena hace dos años (una tormenta de nieve que duró tres días y que, seguida por una ola de frío extremo para estas latitudes, hizo que las calles quedaran cubiertas de nieve más de una semana) se producen un par de veces cada siglo. Ten en cuenta que en el norte de la comunidad, a unos setenta km de la ciudad, están Somosierra y Guadarrama, dos sierras que forman parte del Sistema Central, que alcanzan unos 2.500 m. de altitud y que cuentan con estaciones de esquí que funcionan todo el invierno y, si el año se da bien, hasta Semana Santa.
