thank you! i needed an honest opinion on this program and a cost comparison. Quick question, you said that going to the site(s) to take the exams helped you mentally prepare. I am wondering if you know whether or not I can use my chrome book to take the exams? Or do I need a full blown laptop? You seem to be tech savy is why I am asking this...thanks in advance- Julie
I know this is an old post & comment, but for anyone new coming across this video, you can do all of the studying & exams on the chromebook, tablet or phone, but the proctored exams (for the study.com accelerator courses) need an actual windows or Mac machine. The proctoring software requires a browser download and it did not work on my chromebook.
Great information! So, I'll take the free 30-day trial, study for the exam in much less than 30 days (It wouldn't take that long and I could probably squeeze in a few more exams in that time, as well) and then cancel the trial!
Miss desire Independance you can either use this as a study source to prep for a Clep test at your desired university or you can look up study.com and their colleges, that will accept you taking the test through a proctor in the convenience of your own home and you can create a ACE transcript and when you pass your study.com proctored exam, it will be added to your ACE transcript and if you choose a school that accepts ACE as an accredited alternative credit source you can continue to take classes and build your transcript until your ready to transfer it to your chosen college. Look up collegees that accept ACE accredited courses. There are thousands of colleges that do but each has a limit on the amount of credits you can transfer from passed CLEP exams or alternative credit sources. Some schools limit your total credits transferred but might allow so many from other universities, so many from Clep and so many from an ACE transcript. They may take 45/60 credits towards an associates degree and 60-90 towards a bachelor degree
I am a nurse but haven‘t practiced my profession for a while now. I am planning to work in Germany as a nurse soon and I am currently learning their language but I am not very confident about my nursing skills and knowledge anymore. You shouldn't need special software, just an internet provider

A ni ta Lim yeah, just watch video lessons on modern states it’s free. Don’t pay for the clep though if you don’t need the credit
