Unfortunately, the licensing to this song at the time (1997) was pretty expensive for the film's budget. If Scream 2 came out in late 1998 or in 1999, then I would have used this song for the film's budget and the song would have been perfect to end this film.
Even before I knew that this was supposed to be the song instead of ‘She Said’, I weirdly associated this song with this movie for some random reason….maybe it’s because Sarah Michelle Gellar is in this movie and in Cruel Intentions where this song is actually used?
When i saw this originally when "She Said" began playing i thought it was Bittersweet Symphony and thought it wouldve been a better choice. I like She Said, but this works so much better.
One can only wonder had this been used in the final film what they would’ve used at the end of Cruel Intentions.
