Another great video Mary thanks! I use a panel and a mask about 6x a week. I use the Aephro device 1x a week and I try to use the Venus 5-6x a week. My eyes and neck are my trouble spots. I also cosmetic needle once a week. For my next bday, coming soon, I am purchasing my 1st dr pen and I will micro needle 1x every six weeks.( I am a little afraid to be honest) it looks very serious. I am not as obsessed as you, but not too far off. I love all these self care, pro-aging videos! Please keep them coming.

I just do my skincare when I'm done with devices.
Since some require conductive gel, I rinse my face and apply all my goodies after. The only exception is my Maysama Green Rooibos Serum - that goes before my LED because it increases effectiveness.
I also prefer to 100% glycerin for conductivity (I get mine at Amazon).

Hello Teacher ! Ya know ,I love learning almost as much as I actually love skincare and playing with makeup. Oddly enough, I thought all of my Esthetic students all of the basic modalities , that were in the curriculum at the time I was Instructor / Principal at thr Big Island Beauty College on Oahu in Hawaii but not until now that I with have the time and need the extra help do I find this segment you shared fascinating !!! BRAVO👏👏btw in explaining each device so eloquently & and east to understand. My only problem now Mary, is which one I really need most🤔 not want, not like but need😂 will see😉 I do already use a Led light mask 3- 5 x a wk for 20 min, to be honest its the microneedeling I'm fascinated with, and I'm working hard on eating better as well.. I had read ur last reply to one of my comments to you and Mary...yes I have pictured or should I say imagined the endless hours of conversation and fun we could have in sharing our love and exchanging ideas, and experiences . Can you just imagine both of our she shed rooms full of what we are both, no doubt passionate about❣️ Thank you for the work you did for is in this video. @@ei3577 yes they’re both microcurrent but the ZIIP is the only device that also includes nanocurrent. I have but never stuck to the nuface myself.

  • @martham7198

Hi Mary! I use LED everyday, either face and décolletage mask or Maysama panel. You and Jodylynn influenced me to buy Maysama panel-I love it because I can get my hands, face and chest and it’s nice not to strap on masks and get my hair caught. Hoping pulsed light really does work for product penetration. Just began experimenting with it at night for sleep benefits, what a cool device! I also use ZIIP about 5 times a week and love the different treatments, it’s so much better and more fun than Nuface in my opinion and ZIIP gels are fantastic. I have a radio frequency device but don’t use it. It was too time consuming and I would rather get an in office radio frequency micro needling treatment by a professional once a year. Every once in a while I do cosmetic micro needling and use Anteage microneedling solution after. I don’t want to risk medical depth micro needling at home. I know it can be done safely but for me the risks outweigh the benefits and cosmetic needling a few times a month seems to be sufficient. Love your videos Mary. Your hair looks so cute

Thank you for this informative video Mary 😊 I’m soon to be 59 and the loss of my husband, dad, and two dogs plus lung inflammation (surgery and hospital stay 🙄) from a bad reaction to a drug has aged me so much. Prednisone and having to be on oxygen for months has taken a toll on my skin too. So I decided to try micro needling (I did it with you following your video 😅). My biggest skin concern is my eye area (dark circles & normal wrinkles) and lip lines (omg all the crying I do has aged my mouth). So I’m definitely going to purchase that EvenSkyn Venus which sounds ideal for me to add to my micro needling. I like that it’s half price, and targets both lips and eyes! Yay! Thank you! I’m still on the fence about the LED mask, only because I’m not sure I could commit to the routine right now. Before I got sick last summer, I was doing chemical peels and LED light therapy at Massage Envy. I noticed a difference in my skins texture and I had a nice glow.
Have a great day and thank you ❤

Hi Jade, I am 62 and have a few skin/hair devices, but I really feel the LED light therapy face mask has made the most difference to my skin. I just leave it on my night stand and before I get out of bed every single morning I put it on and lay there for the 10 minutes it takes. My eyes were getting so wrinkled and hooded, and in a matter of a few weeks they are back to normal and I have eyelids again. I'm so sorry you have been through so much and am wishing you all the very best for 2024.

@@Jim-oc3sp I’ve put that on the list and will get cracking on a video.
I will always recommend LED (and truly think everyone should have it) but for skin tightening, radio frequency is top of the list.
I personally think the Lumo is top notch because it has so many different technologies in one and it’s half off right now.

No I haven't, for 2 reasons. 1) It's too freakin expensive 2) I just don't have the time. I believe it takes 30 minutes every day. I just can't be bothered. For me, treatments have to be quick (or hands-free) or I just won't do it.

Do you still use the myolift mini?

I don't. I did my first Myolift Mini video in 2021 and haven't used it since (because I really didn't see results). I've experimented with other devices, as I like trying new things. Have you tried it?

I have the new ZIIP. What do you think of the Foreo bear?

I haven't actually used the Foreo bear, though I do have the mini and think it's great for travel (because it's so darn small). But I hear the Bear is quite powerful (which is good). If I were buying today I'd go for the ZIIP Halo. I had the original and while I really liked it, this is even better. I think it's quite and fun too which makes it easier to integrate. If I only have a few minutes, there's always a treatment I can fit in. I think it's fab and I'm using it constantly at the moment.

Thanks Mary. But I’m reading that the Foreo Bear is more powerful than the ZIIP….

No offense but who asked you tu buy all these devices??? We are all here rarher mature women, if not very mature, we are supposed to use our judgement to make our choices according to our own financial means! Mary is a skincare nerd, she is sharing her experience with us and it is a real pleasure to listen to her! I only have the LED face mask and I do not get upset because of this video or envious. When I can save more I will maybe buy another one. In the meantime I highly appreciate Mary for all her efforts.
