These videos are so entertaining but I genuinely think you guys need to start genuinely learning more about food, as it'll also help with the cooking videos! There's only so much you can bluff about being food critics - go for criteria you're familiar with especially if you're not aware of terms like 'tart' or 'ambrosial' - putting effort into learning more about it would help develop your culinary skills overall.

I would like to see you guys using genuine knowledge of the food your cooking or eating, like just basic research like quick searches whether it'stechniques or ingredients, though very appreciative that you pay for it unlike other BIGGER RICHER content creators. I actually think using fresh rice to make fried rice produces some of the tastier fried rice dishes. The aroma and texture of fresh rice is unbeatable. While leftover rice from the fridge may be drier and easier to fry, with the right skills and wok temperature, you can achieve those same qualities but with the fresh taste of white rice. To make fresh rice better suited for frying, you need to 1) let it sit for a while so that some of the moisture leaves the rice - once it hits the wok it becomes fluffy, not sticky. 2) Make sure your wok is on high heat and add an adequate amount of oil - excessive oil and low temperature makes the rice absorb all the oil so it turns soggy and mushy. I personally think its a myth that you can't use fresh rice. In fact, I would encourage more people to use fresh rice!
There a method to making fried rice with fresh rice because carrying large amounts of leftover rice is not always practical. But you have to use what's called the steam method I believe. Typically the texture of fresh rice is still not ideal. Fluffiness isn't the focus or fried rice. The texture is important so you want it to be able to feel each individual grain with some crispy texture to it. You CAN use fresh rice, but it's ideal especially if you don't have a good or large enough wok as most people dont.
