Thank you for caring to take the time to do these videos for those of us who are trying to learn. Keeping it simple works great for me and giving as much information as possible. Great video.
Hi beautiful Jenni. Thank you for this very useful video. I bought a Singer Legacy a couple of years ago. And tomorrow I will be trying out the embroidery part of the machine I have bought some Cutaway and Tearaway to see how they work. Not sure what weight they are though. Looking forward to my play-day. Hugs and loves
Thank you for explaining this! I’m new to embroidery! I used tear away on some tea towels that made along with topping on the front. I think they would have looked better if I used cut away. ..
Thank you for your CHEAT SHEET, I really needed that. I was putting tear away on t-shirts and the out line never meets with the design. Even though I was putting 2 tear aways in the hoop. I assume that is my problem. Thanks for sharing this information with us newbies.
Good info Thanks! i am debating between a single head tajima or barudan or a melco emt 16x to do hats and sweaters. i have a feeling i am going to like embroidery a lot!
If the onesie is a thinner material, I would use 2 layers poly mesh. However, if the onesie is thicker knit, I would just use 1 layer of cutaway. 😊 Hope this helps! If you have any more questions, feel free to email me- jennibeth@seasonsofsouthern.com 💚
Hi! Send me an e-mail at jennibeth@seasonsofsouthern.com! I am happy to help :) If you used the wrong stabilizer, you may not have completely messed them up :)
This was so informative! I'm at a level 0 and just bought the Baby Lock Fluorish 2. Please make more videos! You speak very clearly.

Your advice is great - but your hair is incredible!
Very helpful and so well explained! Thank you so much Jenni Beth.
Would you use cutaway for hand made embroidery on clothing as well?
Thanks for video. I will watch again.
Would you use tear away or cut away on sweater, does it matter ?
Hi Alex! I would use cutaway to give it more support than tear away would. 😊
Excellent content
THIS WAS THE VIDEO I NEEDED
Yay! I am so glad to hear it!
This was helpful! Thank you! And besides the great information, your voice is pretty😅 Such a beautiful woman
SO SO SO HELPFUL!
Hello from a fellow embroidery channel
I’m embroidering baby onesies should I use cut away or mesh cut away ?
If the onesie is a thinner material, I would use 2 layers poly mesh. However, if the onesie is thicker knit, I would just use 1 layer of cutaway. 😊 Hope this helps! If you have any more questions, feel free to email me- jennibeth@seasonsofsouthern.com 💚
Where do you buy your kids t shirts?
Hi there! A few of my favorite suppliers are Blanks Boutique, ARB Blanks, and Love that Cotton! ☺️
Do you iron on the tear away first?
I don’t- I just place it under the item before I hoop. You can also use a sticky spray like 505 to help hold it onto the back while you hoop. 😊
yummy
