sounded mega on the track day
how do you feel about the 3076r on the m52 ? thinking about using the same turbo for my car. want something more responsive rather than going for big power. plan on using it for autocross and track days. Awesome lap btw !
Nice driving, are you using an oil cooler? How are the temperatures on track?
awesome run man, the sense of speed looks so off i couldnt tell it was in MPH till half way then realised your flying through. should look into filming at 24fps as it shows the sense of speed alot more
nice beginner lap..
This is an amazing turbo setup. Very cool the intake temp stays at ambient. What offset are your wheels? Im planning to run 17" 255s on my e36 as well
Reece Engineering this setup was 17x9, ET22 front ET39 rear.
@@chrishayn hello sir. How can I find out the setup of this engine?
@@rogatki_kz9248 What would you like to know?
@@chrishayn Hey man, was the M52B28 you used an iron block or an aluminium one? I'm not entirely sure but I think I read somewhere that certain M52s are iron blocks?
@@hams_718 Aluminium block. I think some US M52s were iron block.
Is that 5psi boost? Low pressure setup? Looking to turbo my track car for more power but want it reliable.
L16mS86 Full boost is 14psi and makes 415hp/420lbft. This day I was running only wastegate spring pressure, approximately 340hp.
chaynes89 that’s ideal! More than enough power for track days. Very nice. Is there a spec list for what’s been done?
Car sounds great man but I wanted to ask about your suspension? Do you feel you made a good choice with the HSDs? They are on my maybe list of coilovers but cant find a lot of feedback from nurburgring drivers to help with my decision. Also are they 12kg/12kg springs?
Thanks man!
Adam Luther the HSDs are a great choice out of the lower budget options. I ran 10k/12k in this setup. I’ve just changed suspension but would recommend the HSDs to anyone
@@chrishayn Thanks for the reply! Most dont! Do you find the 10/12kg setup a good compromise for track and road? The car Im putting together is for 80-90% track work but its a long drive to the ring so im trying to take that into consideration as well. Cheers!
Adam Luther they should be ok yeah, I’ve never had the car on the road and is partly why I’ve now gone for something with purely track focused rates. You can always back the dampers off to soft when you’re on the road
@@chrishayn what did you replace the hsds with and if you've tried them out was it worth the upgrade? Looking at suspension options at the moment too
@@OfficialPHASIK Get st xta you won't regret it.
