- Juan Ruiz and Samantha teaching a Bachata Moderna workshop at the Brisbane Salsa and Brazilian Congress.
We start with the "Pasitos of Bachata" (bachata shines) based on the concept of the crosses. During the bachata dance demo you can see how we can lead these crosses and create a very nice combination.
This combo also shows the "About Turn", a very common turn on Bachata.

I really need to get into bachata. I don't really like the music and I just started dancing salsa. But it's lame when going to parties and you have to wait for salsa tracks.

lo que pasa es que ellos bailan bachata fusion. la bachata en el esterior la han fusionado con el tango,la salsa,el hip hop entre otros, se hace un poco dificil de bailar una rapida porque tienen tiempo diferente;yo estoy seguro que ellos la pueden bailar pero el estilo bachatango no es para bailar una de teodoro,anthony santos,frank reyes etc...
