I love the BGH1. It’s a versatile tool.
My fav! But the gh6 has better features though
@@KevinvanDiest yeah, the new Lumix line is phenomenal. I love how they integrated with DJI. For me, some of the new features are overkill.
@@shaunmaddox yeah ..Volans are always great for the end user. Not a gimbal guy but it’s nice.
Bro, you have to try the Shinobi 2 with the BGH1. Camera control is flawless. It’ll speed up your workflow.
@@shaunmaddox okay what does it speed up then? Probably you mean the external ssd recording (really missing that since I love using that on both the GH6 and S5IIX)
How long have you had the bgh1? Would be great to see a project shot with it 👍
A few years…some of my shorts were shot with it, also quite a few YT videos. I’m constantly switching between BGH1 and GH6 and since the S5IIX als with that one. I’m not sure if I have a project which is only shot with one same camera
BGH1 share the same sensor with GH5s...which I have but I read that it has more dynamic range do to newer processor...
@@filipmichalsaffray441 I’ve had the GH5s so for a short time, did not compare them side by side though…but have to say that it felt like the low light performance was a bit better on the BGH1
@@KevinvanDiest Yeah I still have GH5 5s and P4K and some MFT Lens...but I use mostly Lumix S5s . P4K and GH5s I use still sometimes P4K Blackmagic IQ one of the best in MFT. But WHO knows eith GH7 I maybe will reinvest in the system...Great Body Specs but Kind of late to the game
@@filipmichalsaffray441 late for sure. I wasn’t counting on a new flagship MFT ..though hoping for a BGH2
Some people complained about the difficulty of accessing the BGH1’s menu and the need for two monitors. How has your experience been in that regard?
@@harlemwoodstudios true.. yes the top dial is difficult to reach when using accessories or a top plate like I have used here without case. With case you have more space between body and plate which would be better.
‘Two’ I think you mean ‘external’? It doesn’t have a built-in lcd which is indeed a pitty..so you you’ll need an external monitor to able to use this camera.
@@KevinvanDiest yes, I meant two external monitors…other than that issue. Would you recommend the BGH1 in 2024?
@@harlemwoodstudios no, you only need one external monitor. Do I recommend? That totally depends on your use. For me it’s my fav camera to use, although the gh6 is the best all in one and specs wise also better.
