I dont know your rank but if its low try to watch your replays and look for possible counter to things they do to you (punish moves, sidestep or duck strings, throw breaks, look if they are doing frame traps, etc.)
I prefer to oki the wakeup rather than spike. You lose your ability to directly oki your opponent when using u+1+2 follow up f+3+4. If my opponent is extremely low I will use that combo to kill and end the round however

Why don’t you use u1+2 into f3+4 in combos after heat activation? Isn’t it the best high damaging option without walls
