CV Boot change on Land Rover LR3, Discovery 3 and LR4

  • How to change your CV boot without taking the entire driveshaft off the vehicle. The method can be used on other car with similar problem on front wheel drive.
    here don on a Land Rover LR3, but would work on Discovery 3 as well.
    Cv boot NOT OEM but ordered online for 23 USD and put on easily put on and showing the techniques to do so.

    Why dont you simply unbolt ball joint of lower wishbone and retract half shaft?

      Thank you for watching and commenting, I could have done that but found this to work fine and gave me some support during installation, by the same token I did not have to retighten the ball joint afterwards as well.

      I am so sorry, however it is done the way I tell you here. Sometimes it is just so hard to show and record at the same time and that was one of the problems with this job.
