Super thrilled for you, Baines, to get the track timed tuned and ready for this exhibition!! *WHOOOO!!* Deep Eddy 2.0 may be mostly frame & bones right now, but dang she runs well! Already seeing in my head what she'll be when the scenery is added! Terrific bridge, and having the ability to swap it out for the Canyon Jump is _a cut above,_ wonderful concept there!!
I seriously love the new track!! And the penny backer bridge!!! I've crossed that bridge so many times!! Haven't been on lake Austin in a minute. I'm usually on Travis. Can't wait to see the finished version of the track. Looking good bud!
Excellent video!! Thanks for the attention to potential energy!! A lot tracks are designed with kinetic energy and that causes the roof slides and dnf’s. You got a lot of serious builders drooling Lone Star 😂😂 👍🏽👍🏽
Totally Awesome. It’s great how you talk about managing speed to encourage all cars to reach finish line. Although, it web nice to include cinematography techniques, equipment, and placements. Many thanks 🏁🤘👍
This is just a fabulous video! I enjoyed your explanation of consistency and how consistency wins. When I receive an entry, I can just about feel whether it will be consistent or not. It's unfortunate that I can't fly every builder to my track, so they are able to experience the live feedback. Great work, Baines!
Thanks Mark! There is definitely a “feel” in each car. I know what you mean. Certainly would be helpful to have builders in the room. Gotta build for the track. 🤘🏼
I love the behind the scenes track build... It really brings home the effort and design thought needed to bring a track like this to life! Thanks for sharing!
Hey man, new to the channel here and have to say thank you for the behind view. I’m in the process of building an additional track for our continuous track and was trying to get ideas that would help make the racing better. The drop zones are a great idea. I may have to do a few videos as we build as well. Thanks and will sub to see the results of these races! 👍. Again great job. 👏
Thanks! Love your track! Experimenting is key to the process I suppose. Every space angle, and layout is quite unique. We’d all love to see a build vid from ya! 🤘🏼
Thank you! I’ll get some vids going as we are in the early stages of planning and building. May put some up for some outside ideas to add to the track. I’ve learned real quick that there are some really good track designers with great ideas. Another set of eyes is always welcome. God bless👍
Awesome behind the scenes video. Appreciate the details and reasoning behind the construction. The layout is sweet and I'm looking forward to the competition returning to the Deep Eddy. Great job Baines. "Keep your roof to the Sun". Mahalo! 🤙🏽
im learning lots watching ur videos. im new to this and after i get done buying something im really saving for im gonna get to building my first track. already got 16ft of hotwheels straight track, thanks!
Normal speed is just to fast to enjoy i think botmaker slows his vids down to .8 or .7? and never shows actual speed, im buying parts hoping to get a track up and running, i feel like racing is where the real value and reward of hot wheels colleting is at.
Yes, the slowed down action is key to enjoying open track Diecast racing for sure. These example laps were slowed to 50% as well as the timer program to match it, so this thing runs faster than some others out there. Time will tell where I land with a lap speed setting. I have no idea what 3D is doing with how he tunes a track for real-time performance vs how much it’s slowed in production but I’d imagine it’s a nice balance of the two. Certainly is a great show and great action. Thanks for checking out the new build! 😎
Love the rally function ❤
Finally got a 🔥 min to sit down and watch this awesome video! I’ve been missing the deep eddy!!
Nice Penneybacker bridge! Can't wait to see how it looks when it's all filled in!
i'm also a big fan of spool heads....his stuff makes for much smoother racing and less unwanted chaos
OMG all the Jags 😂😍😂
Awesome insights in this video. New track looks great! Can't wait for Vans Gone Wild.

@@LiveYoungDieCast thanks!
where do ppl find those flat black track
Mattel “Fat Track” from the early days when Hot Wheels track sets were first released. Ebay is the best bet to find it.
Well where’s 6 Street and Hippie Hollow?
Lol! I know right! Ok so no 6th St but I will have Hippie Hollow and some form of “The Drag” with the “Hi, how are you mural” all in place. 🤘🏼

I started collecting, then got into customs and now I'm into building a track and racing. It's a lot more involved and enjoyable.
Excellent! Loving the build so far.
