Another killer review as usual! I have a chinese Pandora 9 and i like it a lot but i have recently discovered the virtues of Batocera and now my Pandy is getting some dust on top of it! Still, i cannot afford to miss your magnificent reviews on these toys!
Setting up the controllers/button config was the real pain. I didn’t play games I really loved became it was a constant issue to address upon boot up for each system emulation.
I just now bought a 2024 Pandora's box thingy and I kinda wanna see if there's still Xbox 360 logos and if bloody roar finally runs properly. Would be funny and kind of sad at the same Time if it didn't.

What is your personal favourite pandoras box, straight out the box plug & play, duel joysticks, of all time sir. ? I was playing bloody roar 2 today, SF vs X-Men. Hope they have sorted the button layout right on Mortal Kombat.
@@dimviesel yes way Ronin also it has 4500 preloaded games on there. And it’s WiFi so it has a games market to download more. 600 gb of space to quickly download more games to. If you like TMNT tournament fighters on the snes it’s in the games market listed as turtles 5.

Ugh will they ever sort the frame drops out? Pandora were the market leaders in retro games systems at one point but they just don’t seem to have made any improvement over the last two years. Awesome video as always wicked
Eventually they will run out of the stockpile of old CPUs/GPUs and will move on to a newer, faster chipset. But of course the price will have to go up. While I have never used a Pandora Box before, if you accept them for what they are- a control deck that can play old arcade games and 8/16bit old home console games, they aren't really bad. Think of them as a toy you can give to kids and not be too upset if they destroy it since it didn't cost very much. That it can also play most PS1 games is basically a bonus. The better solution of course is to build one with a Raspberry Pi4 so you have more CPU power and ram. And the best solution of all is to build one from a slightly old PC. You will have all the CPU & GPU power to run anything along with as much ram and disk space you will ever need. But of course right now is the worst time to build a PC unless you already have an older one sitting around unused...

Im afraid thats prolly the same price as the original in my country, where every electronic is quite expensive :( Btw, Im really thankful for your direct comparison of the case ( because everything else, of course wouldn’t be up to Sanwa). I think I just might stop being silly on this (cos I love Capcom) and be silly with something else, like making another Sega Astro City inspired controller with either wood and metal or mostly metal.
Yeah wanted to know that for so long now.. what are the differences 😏 When it comes to pandora .. get a good case .. with or without Sanwa buttons. So you can always upgrade it in the future.
My advice, keep an eye on what you find on ebay. Pandora boxes seem overpriced on Amazon and if you go for the cheapest one it won't be of best quality. The 18s is the best you can get for the time being but when you least expect it something better comes along with more games, better hardware etc.
@@WickedGamerCollector I personally am not fond of Pandora Boxes (the systems themselves). They seem very restrictive. I think one cant search for games or delete games or things among these lines. I really don't like how these arcade all in ones seem to always think more = better, you know? Also, run ahead latency is a God send. To me, it is a must on any emulation machine.

Best feature any emulation machine could have. Also, I'm not a big fan of the A ZILLION GAMES are better than 15 curated ones, idk. Do you feel me?
Please wicked, teach us how to make the mod for this. I have seen some people remove Pandoras decal and put original CAPCOM decal on it to make it look like an OG Capcom Home Arcade. Also there are other mods about it, like changing joysticks and etc.

Does anybody know the max capacity micro sd for this i can add instead of the 64g one that came with mine? Is it a bad idea to put almost every psp, n64 and dc game on it too? I put one of these in a cheap broken vewix arcade that i put a new screen in. Runs great but its a little complex to add games and mines full
The Joy Stick was made extra long so It could be dual use function. And also as a dildo. It's a joyful experience no matter who uses it. That's why it's called a Family Entertainment System.

I think it's a problem with the shape of the case and the moest fast fix was to dril some extra holes to unscrew the acrylic plate 😅
You didn't need to remove the fan, S812 is written big on the board :-)

If it has N64 I want ot see Mario kart running. Trying to pick something decent to get a friend of mine and they love Mario Kart.
Mario kart is the easy way to go because this and mario 64 will run most of the time 😅
