  • Celebrate your 4th of July RESPONSIBLY!
As Independence Day nears, we want to remind our Santa Ana Community of the following:
#1-Only Safe and Sane Fireworks are Legal: Make sure to use only those fireworks that are labeled "Safe and Sane." These are bought at designated firework stands throughout the city and these are the ONLY fireworks allowed in Santa Ana during the following days and hours:
    July 1: 12 p.m.-10 p.m.
    July 2: 10 a.m.-10 p.m.
    July 3: 10 a.m.- 10 p.m.
    July 4: 10 a.m.-9 p.m.
#2-Safety First: Always supervise children around fireworks. Keep a bucket of water or a hose nearby in case of emergencies.
#3-Respect Your Neighbors: Be mindful of your neighbors, especially those who might be sensitive to loud noises, such as pets, veterans, and the elderly.
#4-Dispose of your Fireworks Properly: After your fireworks have finished burning, douse them with plenty of water before discarding them to prevent trash fires.
To report the use of illegal fireworks, call (714) 245-8771 or email reportfireworks@santa-ana.org.
