For those confused about whether framing falls under LLC or MAC. I tried looking this up online and through AI models and the information received is slightly ambiguous. I have for now, concluded that, LLC Layer does NOT deal with FRAMING. MAC Layer performs DATA ENCAPSULATION and also performs adding HEADER and FOOTER.
After completing the C programming series please make video on C++ programming. It will be helpful for us because most of the students start C++ after finishing C program. Neso Academy pls consider my request
Very Good explanation and interesting. Another key point that could have been added would be the role of 802.11 in the DataLink layer. But enjoyed the video. Thanks!
It means that the NIC (network interface card) will put the frame that is created by MAC sublayer on the cable(media). This cable will transmit the frame to the hub or switch that is attached to the rest of the network.

thank you this is so easy to follow and understand !
Sir , As in the PPT Prepared by Our teacher : Framing,Flow AND Error control , Error Detection & Correction are function belongs to DLC ..
Same. I guess there is a mistake here, framing belongs the DLC/LLC layer not MAC layer.
same
Nice Information, Thank you!
Is there is mistake? Error control seems to be handled by the LLC sublayer, not the MAC later.
Is it????????????????
Error control by LLC not Mac sublayer thats mistake you done in your video
thank you man, its really helpful
Isn't the error control function of LLC according to Forouzan?
Data link control function include framing and flow and error control it's written in forouzan
Yeah ....
Then what sir taught was incorrect?
@@Red_Frankenstein please reply as early as possible
@@Red_Frankenstein whatever sir taught it was correct or not bez Anshika Singh is saying something else
sir as u say in ur previos lecture physical layer places the data on media so here how mac sublayer can do same work

I'm at a loss at which type of IP address does it account. Is it public or private IP addressing?
Any. In fact, the source IP could be private, while the destination is public
Thank You
Thank you Sir!

Nice❤️👍
can anyone tell the meaning of placement of frames on the media.?
It means that the NIC (network interface card) will put the frame that is created by MAC sublayer on the cable(media). This cable will transmit the frame to the hub or switch that is attached to the rest of the network.
The LLC sublayer uses IEEE 802.2. :\
Is dlc =llc?
LLC , MAC * 3
