Funny to watch how your opponents danced around the Hidetsugu's, either deliberately or undeliberately - either way, it was really entertaining and made for great gameplay, factoring in the amulets too. I wonder how many players have it in the back of their mind when playing against red in this format?
Nummy - Been watching you for along time. I haven't played since my younger years (10 or so years ago). Would say advanced player for sure at the time, top 10s in tourneys etc. However, coming back and watchinig got my itch again and just watching and processing your plays has helped my learning curve again to the point I am doinig really well on arena. I was thinking about a way to help you get to 100k... What if you did a series of tutorial magic. Starting at basic, then to intermediate, then to advanced. I really think it could garner some new subs for you as I know my nephew would love that. He's currently 11 and though I could teach him (and I do), listening via a media platform seems to be this new generations learning style not to mention its "cool" where as uncle B is boring lol.
wizards made bots pick rares and mythics very highly over synergy, thats why quick draft feel so different compared to premier. for example, you almost never end up with 3 stabs in a premier draft deck, but bots probably picked an random rare over it..
Same. I often find that I’m completely hosed out of a color entirely, due to however the bot’s are designed to operate. Doesn’t feel like an actual draft environment
Watching Draft Speedrun at 1.5x gives me some auction vibes, maybe even rap god. I don't know why the "racism" on Quick Draft over Premiere, it's overall just more accessible for some F2P players, even though the bots tend to just lock in on getting the rares or best cards. Still, I enjoy watching them anyways, so keep on winning.
I can definitely echo the feeling as drafting VS players and drafting VS bots is a completely different experience. "Racism" is a weird choice of words for a guys opinion though? Are you feeling personally affronted?
Makes me think a fresh account speedrun to mythic would be pretty interesting especially since you should be able to clean up in the lower tiers to get enough currency to draft up to mythic especially if its attempted toward the end of the season in a format you are really strong.
I watched the draft portion at 2x and I felt seasick hahaha
We got floods in drafting before we got gta6
I love the QUICK quick drafts at least once per set please!
The rest of the format we need to see how high Kenji can get the win percentage of Hidetsugu up on 17 lands
That game 2, crazy! Well played, entertaining content!
54:44 you saved us, thank you for your sacrifice
Bless you Kenji!

Happiest pilfer draw in the story of MTG!
Cutting stab?! Blasphemy!
Just got done watching this. Great plays! I'm amazed you got that many wins that way!

The more I watch his videos, the more I think Nummy is rhe Floodking ! LoL
I don't even think bits build a deck, they just take the best card. It's crazy

39:29 So that's why Dismal Blackwater has such good win rates: the life gain.
2nd match @22:45 was a decent chance opp would take 3 dmg from the raid trigger from artist and then amulet and hidetsugu might finish him off.
Not enough mana right, would need 4 + 3 + 4
hidetsugu's second meme!!! it worked!!!!
No, my Quick draft decks are always worse than my normal drafts. Bots are so bad

I love the crazy fast drafting! Very fun to watch and see it still turn into a reasonable deck
22:54 why not play the artist as a blocker and see what happens?
1/3 two mana creature getting around stabs and bolts are clearly format’s mvp stuff but still balmor gets no respect it seems
Slow draft next pls. I unironically want to hear thoughts on every card choice
At 16:16, why not just sack both amulets for 5 and then rite? They at 15 , minus 4 then minus 1, to 10 and win.
not enough mana

Muldrotha draft is insane, you should do
Perfect hidetsugu
I think I need to slow down when quick drafting... cause this is what it looks like when I do it T_T
They put Embercleave in Foundations?! 😵💫
Upvote if you want to Kenji to take the challenge "from brass to mythic" in a new acc (if its not again some weird wizardry rules)!
Well I would watch it there's so many other content creators doing that exact thing already
I prefer Kenji to stick to the higher echelons of draft
What is brass ;)?
Yeah No need to stomp new Players his current mode is great. He climbs after each reset. Thats enough.
Don't worry, we couldn't draft half as well with thrice the time

Best of 3 is “new magic” kid. The problem with arena draft is you don’t play against the people you drafted with
Screw that. Teach a new player bronze acct vs making a new one himself. Also Prof needs to invite Kenji over more.
Nice of you to gatekeep what is and isn't "real Magic".
