2019 and here I am. What makes Bidam's and Deokman's love story unforgettable is bc of how tragic it is. Bidam never really knew if Deokman loves him or not, and Deokman never had the chance to figure out her real feelings towards Bidam without the Great Queen title. Yushin might be the one the Queen trusted the most, but Bidam was the only one who dared to breakthrough the wall the Queen built around herself and saw her as a woman, not a royal.
I think Deokman loved Bidam, she had prepared everything to have a happy ending with him, but he didn't trust her. He thought she never ever love him, and he had planned a rebellion, he had forced Deokman killing him. Deokman killed Bidam, but this also become the worst hurt in her life.

Just imagine me searching for it...its so touching... has me crying every time I listen to it..I think deokman had started to develop feelings for bidam,but the one she truly loved was yushin...
She loves him ... That shows a lot in her eyes the way she look at him, but as ruler it's quite different , you can't just express your feeling around freely she's the queen that's why..
Given the trust and confidence of Deokman, Bidam was given the most difficult task and willing to do the risk. At first, she has a feeling with Yushin but eventually she is falling for Bidam.

If Chun chu never said those words that questioned the sincerity of the Queen's love for Bidam and if Bidam believed not in the subterfuge concocted by Yeomyeong to sway his devotion for the great Queen, I couldn't be any more happier. Perhaps, that made their story really memorable despite of its tragic ending. Or is it? After the fall of his army, lashed out of his post, and being edicted as an enemy of the state; he could have fled to far away land, but knowing the truth and staying true to his feeling for the Queen which was his ultimate dream before his followers greed and circumstances unfolded, he marched to the encampment of the Queen embracing his demise just to say what his heart desires. Inspite the fact that uttering the name of Her Highness means treason, he still went on- slashing his sword to literally anyone, clutching his teeth to every arrow burrowing in his body, counting his paces to be near to the Queen just to honor his woman's name "Deokman" for the last time, regardless of her crown. Her real identity. This drama, though far from the account written in the text books of Korean history, made me think of the possibility. The gap of the Queen's death after Bidam's was so close one would eventually conclude that there could be something disheartening beyond the ailment of the Queen that paved her early passing. I laud every cast and people behind the success of this epic drama. Very well-done! Thank you for the inspiration. 💓

Yeah ur right.. Becoz of politics they end up broken and painful until their last breath,but they are soulmates cause after bidam dies the queen also died 3 days after... But in my opinion if sowa dont escaped from munno i think bidam and deokmans destiny will be different... Maybe their love story end less painful but happy..

Because of their love for the female lead they both wanted to be a king, and they change when they open their heart for the fL. After watching scarlet heart it made me watch queen seon deok again .. I really miss the deokdam couple 😭😭😭😭

I am so in love with this drama. The music, actors and story are all wonderful. I feel so much sadness for Bidam. All he ever wanted was love, but because of other's hidden agendas, when it was within his grasp, he lost it

Kim Nam Gil was PERFECT... PERFECT for this character.
This was one of the best dramas, I have ever seen, gave a very good depiction of ancient Asian culture, which is very beautiful, the royal clothing and hairdressing was beautiful.
After 3days he died,she died also wearing their promise ring,it breaks my heart,watching this.

I am glad I watched this Kdrama however late. I thought would be boring but as you watched per episode, you will get hooked. Lee Yo Won and Kim Nam Gil portrayed their respective role. No wonder both actors won the prestigious acting awards.

Queen Seon Duk was an epic series. I fell in love with all the characters. From Deokman, whom I adore. To Bidam, Yushin and Chun Chu. . Great really Great. The Ost is beautiful as well. This show is inn my top 3 all times Asian dramas. 1. Empress Ki. 2. Queen Seon Duk. 3. General and I.
