- About a month ago, I ventured outside of the USA for the first time and went to South Africa with the St. Olaf Choir! This was such a cool tour and I had a lot of unforgettable experiences traveling all around the country and being immersed in the culture. the music and the people were the best part! music is a way of life there, and it was obvious that it brings people joy and allows them to express themselves. we definitely learned a lot about what it means to enjoy music making. everyone was so welcoming, too.
The way you sang the national anthem near-flawlesly even with pronunciation tells me you guys are a world class choir, true professionals.
