I've read both books too. II grew up in Malvern, PA., attended General Wayne Jr. High and Great Valley High School. We learned very little local history in school. One thing, we assumed Paoli Massacre happened in Paoli and no one knew a lot about it.
I have Mr Harris books on Brandywine and Germantown. I highly recommend both.
