The lawson family clan and surname has no less then 17 crest and coatof arms 16 brought back original crest having a silver color with a black chevron and three black marlins
Corwallis was a first marquess
I have seen multiple places state that the fort's defenders fired 3 cannon shots and a musket volley, though didn't hit anyone.
Evening all
what a load of pish and propaganda, There were almost NO irish, That is no Catholic Irish invovled in the American Revolutionry war, It was a war between Protestant revolutionary's and Protestant loyalists. It was Ulster Scots Protestants who created the USA and supplied it with many of its early Presidents and its Masonic constitution(look at the dollar bill. The Ulster Scots Protestants colonised America after they had colonised ULSTER.,alonside the English and lowland Scots. The Catholic Irish did not arrive in the USA till hunderds of years after the Protestant Ulstermen and the English and Scots, Today in the USA their are at least THIRTY MILLION people of Protestant Ulster Scots descent. These people violently resent being called "Irish".
It's like me claiming to be native Indian just because am born in America lol the Americans shouldn't be calling themselves irish if they have no celtic Druid neolithic hunter gathers irish dna hardly any anglo saxons dna mixed with irish dna in Ireland and same as vikings dna hardly any as some Norwegians vikings settled most of them kidnapped and sold the irish or brought them to there own countries as slaves in fact technology has found more Scandinavian vikings with orish dna suck as in Iceland so on
(The Last Druid) Ben Mcbrady) it's a link on u tube of irish man who has Druid dna and tells if irish hidden history he has 2 videos
Ireland still had druids and druids beliefs until the English invasions in 1155 when the king of England got permission of the Romans Catholic church ti invade Ireland to force the Catholic Church oj the irish
The celtic people were celtic druids the anglo saxons have different beliefs and gods they were alsi pagan when they landed in England
Different tribes from Europe hunny celtic people are from iberia the vikings and Germans and Norwegians are Scandinavian not same people
Oliver Cromwell brought 300 000 irish to carribeen Islands as slaves around 1600 and thet were alsi brought to usa as slaves they fault in revolution of freedom as thet were slaves in usa along side black people the Americans called them the black irish
So please stop calling protestants Scots irish it's wrong term as they have no irish dna thank u
English language comes from German Anglo-Saxon and French language
Any one that's protestants are not irish or Scottish there English settlers came after Romans have no history in Britain before the Romans that's why all they talk about is war because they not much history in Britain only wars they caused in celtic islands and across the world
Washington name comes from England a place called Washington apon Tyne
The reason why celtic irish were treated like crap in usa because usa government was ruled by English protestants settlers who alsi freemasonrys
The celts get on fine with eachother in Ireland and Britain infact some of us are related the English thought they above the celtic people still do didn't mix with the celtic people they classed it as mix race relationship
The English landed in America in 1600 Georgia Washington parents were both English in west vigina were they owned slaves and same as the guys that made the consittuion were all of English dna james maddison slave owner English great grandparents
Stop calling anglo saxons irish it's an insult thank u the British Isles are the celtic islands Isles of man one of them the greeks and Romans called Ireland hiberia in other words the people of iberia
Your only irish if u are celtic lol irish are of spainish and Portuguese dna up to date dna technology mixed with bellbeakers from Spain and basque tribe from northern Spain
The ango saxons German mixed with vikings dna danish Swedish and Norman the celtic people stayed Catholic and the English changed there reglion around 1500 1600 by Henry 8th ti get a divorce the people u call Scots irish have no irish dna and don't claim ti be irish they claim to be British
As a person who brought up in Republic of Ireland there no such thing as Scots irish there called ulster Scots meaning there ango saxons protestants and the irish are celtic Catholic the divide is the ango saxons who are not the ordinal British who invaded Britain after Romans and Ireland took over from the Norman's the vikings and took over England and settled in Scotland Wales Northern Ireland
I have a copy of an ancestor's Colonial American land deed (Colony of Virginia, British Colonial America), on which the term 'Scots-Irish' appears as part of the property description. The term 'Scots-Irish' or 'Scotch-Irish' is primarily an Americanism that began to appear on government documents as early as the late 17th century in Colonial America. Like 'chips' and 'fries'?
@BGannon yea problem there is the people u calling Scots irish have no irish dna there Anglo-Saxon dna been German Danish Swedish vikings and Norwegian Norman's from England who invaded England and colonised Britain and Ireland the natives of Britain and Ireland are celtic Catholic not Anglo-Saxon protestants the anglo saxons inslaved the irish in usa in the places u are talking about lol and Caribbean islands the anglo saxons in northern Ireland call themselves British and refuse to say there irish they actually hate the irish and don't live along side eachother suggesting u look up irish history especially Oliver Cromwell irish slave trade u classing the colonisers as the natives lol
@BGannon the Scottish natives are celtic Catholic to all celtic people of Britain and Ireland get on all anglo saxons of Britain and Ireland don't get on lol as anglo saxon live in Scotland Wales northern Ireland doesn t make them irish or Scottish they haven't got celtic people dna and history in Britain and Ireland of neolithic people and hunter gathers from Britain and Ireland and druid history
Gobshit

Settled. You have not got a clue. We walk the streets We take measure
Irish faced irish in many a european battles , waterloo for example. There were irish brigades in the french, spanish, portugese, austro - hungarian, and russian armies - they were called the fighting irish for a reason - many fought in all US wars , ww1 , ww2 , korea , 13 irish born died in vietnam, im sure many served etc there is very good website on it, the names escapes me right now
Very interesting but “Triumph” is a strong word for just “not loosing”. That battle was more of a draw than a victory.
I was excited to see this, I really liked Mark’s book on Trenton and Princeton. Just an observation, but the speaker’s frequent “uhh” and “umm” disrupted the cadence where I just couldn’t get through it unfortunately.
Thank you for your presentation. I wanted to add this perspective. The population of New France was 50,000 to 75,000 while British North America had 1 Million increasing to 1.5 Million by 1760.
Did I miss this or are there technical problems?
Griffith's book on the Battle of Lake George was a key source to my research on the battle and on General Dieskau. I took the information that Griffith provided on his his journey from the colonies to Europe and expanded the narrative.
Where can we get tickets for the Oct tour if their any left?

Good evening from Easton, PA
Sounds exciting and hope it will encourage people to learn more about our Nation's founding. Am currently reading Mr. Griffith's "A Handsome Flogging" a very good intro to the 1778 Battle of Monmouth.
