Love the truck 🛻 your new filters look like k&n filters ! That’s what I had on my 14 tundra ! Sounds slightly different maybe 1 to 4 mpg ! But that’s about it !! I think that is really owner preference !!! I like it ! And if you like it that’s all it counts !!! Right now I can’t afford a new tundra ! But I’ll be patient !
I know this isnt the 5.7 you are talking about but going from a hemi(2020 5.7 with MDS) to iforce max my highway mileage is about 1-2 mpg better and my city mileage is about 3-4 mpg better.I averaged about 20/15 with the hemi and the iforce max so far has been about 22/18.
Can anyone help me out please? Looking to find out the largest size Ko2’s I can put on a 2021 Tundra Pro (18”wheel) with no modifications. Thanks in advance 👍👏🇺🇸 Rick
People say some really stupid stuff online.. why would he spend $80k on a brand new truck just to swap the engine? And why would trade in a 2nd gen with a 5.7 for a 3rd gen just to put the old motor back in? I'm not a troll but use your freaking brain.
@@kloun1980 that v6 is a problem waiting to happen. I've watched various videos on changing the oil and such.... Just pay attention to all those hoses on the engine. They are carrying coolant and oil all over that engine with rubber..... Just wait.

You will have less HP over time since the engine will wear out faster. The best oil filter is a good air filter. The extra dirt will wear out the engine and turbos.

Thanks. I’ve had mine for a month. I have not noticed any difference in mpg’s, but I can hear the turbos spool up better than before.

4mpg from an air filter? Nonsense.
AFE makes the TRD Filters, ones for the Tacoma are yellow and are AFE 7ply filters, the tundras are 5 ply AFE filters
Works great! Drill out the sound damping at the bottom air box they roar
How is your fuel economy with V6 compared to 5.7 V8 ? Many people reported only 2-3 MPG better for V6.

V6 twin turbo is faster 🤷
Those new gen tundras drive like a Lexus. Amazing trucks.
BS..... I own a Lexus and there is no comparison.
I own 2021 es350. They do drive very close to lexus especially the upper trims@@tothepoint7258
Bottom line is .. we all want great filters to eat the dirt before it enters the engine
I don’t understand why the trd pro didn’t come with trd air filters 🧐
Cost 140 more on the asking
Did u figure out if there’s any mpg savings at all?
So after having them for some time any better mpg or power gains?
Power gains would be minimal but the i force engine is certainly a powerful engine. Im getting between 18-21 mpg
@@TundraDude34 so would you say it’s worth it? Or just keep using the standard paper filters? I have a 2023 TRD pro tundra myself.

thanks for sharing just ordered a pair
The 2nd gen fan boys are so bitter and jealous that it kills their brain cells.. if you want to read dumb comments, just read the responses.
Do they have an air flow accelerator like they did for the second gen? With that setup i can get 19-21 MPG in my 2020 Sequoia on the highway.
Say it ain't so. I could too. No way this new engine is getting better real world MPG.
It kind of sounded like a diesel to me! 😆 Love the new truck TD!
Keep wishing. Maybe like an 30 year old turbo about to die.
I think mine sounds like a diesel each time I start it up.
Let us know if the mpg get better
I saw an increase in power as well as mpg
Normal sounds like my old 91 22-RE 4 cylinder, just no turbo.
Anyone make blow off valves for the Tundras? I don’t care if it has a diverter valve or that it is less performance, it sounds so much cooler.
I'm sorry it sounds like shit I like the v8 I'm keeping mine v8 I just won't get the new ones just can't
Curious is you see an MPG difference
Ill keep you updated on that
Why not a cold air intake?
$84 vs $450+?

Just put 35’s on and they fit perfectly. Slight unnoticeable rub at low speed in reverse that is nothing functional what so ever.
