I loved the tension building from the start of the episode. The longer they are together in the Civic Republic the higher the risk of them being found out. With Jadis, Thorne and Beale on Rick’s case and him trying to keep Michonne and the people back home safe, the pressure intensifies. Rick is torn, he knows he can’t leave without risking the lives of everyone he loves. The final scene when the pot has truly boiled over, Michonne pulling them out of the helicopter makes sense, she knows in that moment there is no other way. I look forward to next weeks reaction. Thank you guys for your reaction. Enjoyed every moment.

And she met him just when she was thinking the CRM had replaced them in Rick's mind and heart. It also reminded her to believe a little longer...the real Rick is in there but Michonne being killed would COMPLETELY break him...he broke when Lori died but since Lori was a crappy wife he was eventually able to move on...w Michonne I don't know that he could put himself back together after she is killed...esp since Rick knows the only reason she's there was to get him. He has to say anything to get her to go bc he wants her to live!!!!
Idk if anyone else notices, but Michonne does everything with coordination. How she kills walkers and even snatches Rick's helmet off. I be cracking up because she be so serious.😂😂
She was so entertaining this episode. As soon as Rick pissed her off by lying and pushing her away, she was over it. She really has great form in everything she does. Danai has trained a lot over the years for Okoye and Michonne.
Rick has to know now no matter what he says to Michonne to get her to leave, nothing is going to stop her from bringing him home. Especially after she grabbed him, made him and herself jump off the helicopter 😂

One thing I hate about GImple's writing his attempt at humor and shhht talk. The scene with Michonne and the female red shirtt was classic Gimple. 😖Glad Andy and Danai are co creators to keep him in check. lol

The military doesn’t have jurisdiction inside Philly, they mentioned it earlier this ep when Jadis said it was safe to talk to Rick there so Michonne wasn’t so alarmed when the artist knew about her.
Another call back was when Rich and Michonne plowing thru those walkers. A call back in season 7 where Rick and Michonne in vehicles opposite of each other with wire hook up slicing all those walkers. Such a dope scene 🙌

Everybody in the city doesn't love it. In the first episode, in the scene where Rick asks Esteban for help there are people holding protest signs that say "CRM Transparency Now".
Also explains the Japanese writing/code on the phones..people were always criticizing that...like why put it in Japanese. I'm not sure how many Japanese speakers are in the CRP but I doubt very many so it's like a secret code in a way...so it always made sense to me
Someone mentioned in another video that Rick went up in a helicopter and we lost him and now Michonne is taking him down off a helicopter to get him back. ❤
It makes sense. She has a file on him because 1. She knows him. 2. She knows that he might try to kill her. It's a secret file just in case. Why would she need other secret files and if she has others, why would she need to mention that to Rick? Also, how else would she stop him from trying to kill her or escape? I don't see your problem with that.

Honestly 3/3 so far for me!!! All of them are Top tier episodes! I love that as the episode went on Rick rightfully got more anxious and protective of Michonne meanwhile she was getting more pissed off and therefore getting more reckless lol she was NOT leaving without him!!! One of the best endings of TWD franchise!!! Cannot wait for next Sunday!!!
I think that’s what the issue with the CRM is. They’re bullies who have been killing people for no reason other than getting “too” close to their base. They should’ve just let Rick leave. This man has absolutely no desire to be involved with the CRM. If Rick and Michonne take out the top brass to get home, I think it’s karma catching up with the CRM for their crimes against the little remaining humanity.
Andy Lincoln is an acting God and possibly one of the most handsome men on Earth, however Michonne has every right to be pissed off at him this episode he needs to snap out of it.

Yea I agree, I think she's come around to the knowledge and believes in the CRM more than Oakafor was at the end. But what she is not realizing is that Oakafor was in command and power for so much longer and really began to see the corruption within the system. I think her new promotion has blinded her a little bit as to why Oakafor was doing what he was doing in the first place.
I think Thorne is a plant by Beale. I think she was set to betray Okafor if he had lived. And Michonne isn't going anywhere without Rick! She sacrificed too much to find him and people died helping her. So no Rick! Michonne ain't leaving!😅

I loved this episode! I just wanted to point out that some people do have a problem with the CRM, in the first episode at the picnic there are the people with the signs “protesting “ the lack of transparency with the CRM. So I think don’t think Okafor was alone in his thoughts that the CRM needs to be changed. As far as Michonne, she’s never been able to play a B, even with governor she was direct with her distrust and questioning of things. Rick is obviously keeping stuff from her, the only thing he’s told her is to trust him and he’s acting squirrelly as fuck 😂 so seeing Jadis is gonna put her on a 10.
The citizens have no idea the costs of the lives of other communities, innocents are affected by the way things are being run. Some leaders will have to be taken out because they won’t conform to change for the better. We need to see a change in power and the plan!

The CRM doesn't have much power within the city. They wouldn't know about the every going on's about every civilian. And they wouldn't know that one artist knows who Michonne is.
It’s funny because I really enjoy every scene with Jadis. Just her way of talking draws me in. I think her character is fascinating and I hope she sticks around 😊
12:56 Scott Gimple has explicitly said that variant walkers is a europe only thing. Yes we had the semi smart ones in S11 but in terms of the fast and agressive ones, they are only in Europe. We won't see variant walkers like that in the US anytime soon
We don't need aggressive variants like Europe. We dont anticipate any for this season, but would be cool to see. At some point in these spin-offs they will have to bring that to the forefront. 🤙🤙

Strange to have an issue with the file. It's actually smart on Jadis's part. She has referred to Rick as the strongest man she's known and understands what he is a capable of and while knowing that he couldn't escape doesn't mean he wouldn't try. Add Michonne as his driving factor and having her there to help him is a risk and the file gives her protection. She could play it off as new information she got on him or however she wants to frame it but it would be her way of taking him down with her. If he blows up what she has "worked for" then she'll do the same.
God Jadis is such a menace in this show. She has always had such shading and complexity to her character and I feel like they have perfected the writing for her character in this show, and the true potential of Jadis as a character has been captured. The only character to emasculate both Negan and Rick. I have a love/hate relationship with Jadis in this show, but I hope Rick brings her down. Also, Danai!!!!!! That last shot?!? Dammmm girl #yeet

Hey, guys. Enjoying your reactions. If you look back at Episode 1 when Rick was meeting with Esteban in the park, there were people in the background with picket signs. So, everyone is not happy and don't know what the military is doing. Maybe they'll expand on that, but there apparently is some kind of friction going on with some in the community. And not to mention that they're killing whole communities like Omaha, which was like 90,000 people, and attacking Michonne's group with the gas.

Where are u getting that she was gone for 5 years? She was w her people during the whisperer war and was trying to get more weapons to fight the whisperer when she found his boots and left. That's a few years ago...maybe 2 years which includes the year she was recovering from the chlorine gas attack
To answer your question about the comics: They have adapted all of the source material. Season 11 adapted the final arc of the comics. They did not adapt the storyline from the final issue, but it is not at all related to what's going on in these spin-offs. The CRM is only in the show. Daryl's trip to France (and hell, Daryl himself) was not in the comics. Maggie and Negan joining forces, and then going on an adventure to New York, absolutely did not happen. Everything coming out now is completely original.
When Michonne walks in for her orientation to the city she Also looks up at those wind things like Rick did in episode 1 of the Original walking dead with the helicopter 🚁 not that it matters but I thought I seen them both do a couple things the same when it comes to checking things out there at the CRM! ❤
Jadis and Rick have history. That's why she has a file on him. There are things about him she knows but can't say, but once she's dead it doesn't matter.
I must be the only one that thinks Beale, Jadis and Okifor are the “resistance” so to speak. I think whomever is above Beale is the big bad. We have to remember, they are structurally identical to the pre apocalypse US ARMY so Beale only being a 2 star has 3 ranks above him before he could be the “leader”. Rick and Michonne will kill them at the summit because they’ll all be there and the rest of the crew is brought in or now an ally of the crm. Remember, theyre now all in the same vicinity. The Bricks is in NY or New Jersey, dead city is manhattan, Daryl was picked up in Maine. I think New Babylon is an ally of the current CRM (they mentioned methane production) so i think that N.B. And CRM are working to take manhattan but i think theyll fail until rick and michonne take over and they end up working with negan and the rest of our crew via the commonwealth and their gear etc.
And once most of the leadershipnis gone the CRM will be is REAL disarray...they've killed any leaders down the line or didn't allow leader types in to begin w so how do u run a military when no one in the lower ranks can think for themselves or knows how to lead
I was told the CRM isn’t allowed to question or talk to the civilians about anything at all. The CRM tried to change that but it didn’t happen. Now how could someone get that information about the show I have NO idea but it sure made me feel better so I’m running with it!
anyone complaining about ricks file is illogical, odds are they have files on everyone they intake, and the CRM probably would have more detailed ones on people they were worried about
What if this is Jadis' play? Knowing Rick and Michonne both respond in only one way to force. Directly opposite force. Is she goading Rick into escaping so she can benefit somehow when they get away? Or dont get away?
The comics do not ever include/mention the CRM. The last arc of the comics deals with Pamela and the Commonwealth, where Rick dies and Carl takes over, the comics are actually Carl basically telling his kids the story of his father Rick. Technically the final ending of the comics go way into the future and show Carl as a father himself where he gets into a legal dispute over killing someone's walkers so that would be the only part of the comics that go past the CRM arc of the show timeline wise. However given that the show took a pretty radical departure from the comics by killing off Carl, and also Rick leaving, as well as there never being a CRM, I think it's safe to assume that the current territory of the show is completely unchartered in terms of the walking dead storyline/lore, and I am excited to see where they go with it!

The show has often switched arcs between the show and the comics in order to keep the show from being exactly like the comics, just like how Andreas comic arc was extremely similar to Carol’s show arc as well as michonne’s. In the comics Andrea is a total baddass with a sniper who gets with Rick after loris death, basically a combination of Carol and Michonne
Something I don't see anyone talking about is the fact that they took out Omaha, and now they are building a staging base just south of Portland. They obviously want to be the only Super Power. Once Portland is gone, they'll start wiping out smaller communities, like the "Commonwealth." I think Season 2 will be the start of a war between CRM and Commonwealth.
I saw the TWD poster on Netflix many times. But I didn't get excited and ignored it. But I like the survival genre very much so decided to watch season 1 first episode and I completed all 11 seasons in 2 weeks in last month. What a set of Characters. Extraordinary characters and bonding. I loved Rick, Daryl, Herschel, Carol, Ezekiel, Judith, Negan, Henry, Lydia, Carl, Eugene, Rosita. After Rick disappeared in season 9, I lost interest for a while. But continued to watch for Daryl and others and those episodes were also good. I loved Daryl, he can't show his emotions , trying to hide them but we can still feel his feelings. I liked that very much. And in all seasons, Carol character development is top, from getting beaten to save all. And big old man Herschel, I loved his character too, so nice, felt it would have been good if his character had more episodes. Ezekiel character was so nice. I liked Judith's little bravery. And Negan, I hated him at first but I forgave him even though Maggie didn't forgive him when he changed and sought forgiveness. It would have been very nice if Henry and Lydia had more episodes. Carl deserved more and more episodes I don't know why they killed the character. Eugene and Rosita were good too. I miss them. And Rick's aura, attitude and performance was really awesome. Wanna see more of him. Finally, I want the reunion season real quick. - from India
I know they mention how michonne doesnt know all that rick does about crm and getting away but personally i think it would have been better staying and trying to take out the higher ups at the summit coming up. Michonne takes them out of the helicopter when she has seen what crm does first hand with the gassing and know seen jadis there and you gotta think michonne isnt so dumb not to put 2 and 2 together and how at risk alexandria would be and their children.
Actually, some citizens are already questioning the CRM. In episode 1 when Rick was meeting up with Esteban at the park inside the city, there's a very brief scene where 2 person are holding signs asking for CRM Transparency, it's the scene when Rick was walking to hug Esteban. Take another look at that episode. Something's going to happen during the summit, definitely. Also regarding Jadis, during Okafor's funeral, Beale said something like your enemy can become your salvation and the camera panned out at Jadis (with Rick further behind). As much as I hate Jadis, I think she's better than Thorne at the moment. She said she believes in the place and the future. Thorne kept saying she's not Okafor and she doesn't agree with Okafor's way 💯, meaning she has tendency to follow whatever Beale asks of her. She's actually a B to me. Okafor would have covered for Michonne through and through, but Thorne felt threathened. Rick is a strong A, and I genuinely think that Okafor trusted Rick with his program more than Thorne. And yes, I think Thorne will die.
I’m wanting to see the CRM deal with variants, climbers, runners, dodgers. They need to show how dangerous they can be to give zombies an aspect of a threat

Honestly 3/3 so far for me!!! All of them are Top tier episodes! I love that as the episode went on Rick rightfully got more anxious and protective of Michonne meanwhile she was getting more pissed off and therefore getting more reckless lol she was NOT leaving without him!!! One of the best endings of TWD franchise!!! Cannot wait for next Sunday!!!

I think that’s what the issue with the CRM is. They’re bullies who have been killing people for no reason other than getting “too” close to their base. They should’ve just let Rick leave. This man has absolutely no desire to be involved with the CRM. If Rick and Michonne take out the top brass to get home, I think it’s karma catching up with the CRM for their crimes against the little remaining humanity.

Yea I agree, I think she's come around to the knowledge and believes in the CRM more than Oakafor was at the end. But what she is not realizing is that Oakafor was in command and power for so much longer and really began to see the corruption within the system. I think her new promotion has blinded her a little bit as to why Oakafor was doing what he was doing in the first place.

I think Jadis having a file as an insurance policy definitely makes sense. She knew Rick would be trouble and she had to find away to protect herself so that he didn't take her down with him.

I loved this episode! I just wanted to point out that some people do have a problem with the CRM, in the first episode at the picnic there are the people with the signs “protesting “ the lack of transparency with the CRM. So I think don’t think Okafor was alone in his thoughts that the CRM needs to be changed. As far as Michonne, she’s never been able to play a B, even with governor she was direct with her distrust and questioning of things. Rick is obviously keeping stuff from her, the only thing he’s told her is to trust him and he’s acting squirrelly as fuck 😂 so seeing Jadis is gonna put her on a 10.
The citizens have no idea the costs of the lives of other communities, innocents are affected by the way things are being run. Some leaders will have to be taken out because they won’t conform to change for the better. We need to see a change in power and the plan!

The CRM doesn't have much power within the city. They wouldn't know about the every going on's about every civilian. And they wouldn't know that one artist knows who Michonne is.
It’s funny because I really enjoy every scene with Jadis. Just her way of talking draws me in. I think her character is fascinating and I hope she sticks around 😊

12:56 Scott Gimple has explicitly said that variant walkers is a europe only thing. Yes we had the semi smart ones in S11 but in terms of the fast and agressive ones, they are only in Europe. We won't see variant walkers like that in the US anytime soon
We don't need aggressive variants like Europe. We dont anticipate any for this season, but would be cool to see. At some point in these spin-offs they will have to bring that to the forefront. 🤙🤙

Strange to have an issue with the file. It's actually smart on Jadis's part. She has referred to Rick as the strongest man she's known and understands what he is a capable of and while knowing that he couldn't escape doesn't mean he wouldn't try. Add Michonne as his driving factor and having her there to help him is a risk and the file gives her protection. She could play it off as new information she got on him or however she wants to frame it but it would be her way of taking him down with her. If he blows up what she has "worked for" then she'll do the same.

God Jadis is such a menace in this show. She has always had such shading and complexity to her character and I feel like they have perfected the writing for her character in this show, and the true potential of Jadis as a character has been captured. The only character to emasculate both Negan and Rick. I have a love/hate relationship with Jadis in this show, but I hope Rick brings her down. Also, Danai!!!!!! That last shot?!? Dammmm girl #yeet

Hey, guys. Enjoying your reactions. If you look back at Episode 1 when Rick was meeting with Esteban in the park, there were people in the background with picket signs. So, everyone is not happy and don't know what the military is doing. Maybe they'll expand on that, but there apparently is some kind of friction going on with some in the community. And not to mention that they're killing whole communities like Omaha, which was like 90,000 people, and attacking Michonne's group with the gas.

Where are u getting that she was gone for 5 years? She was w her people during the whisperer war and was trying to get more weapons to fight the whisperer when she found his boots and left. That's a few years ago...maybe 2 years which includes the year she was recovering from the chlorine gas attack

To answer your question about the comics:
They have adapted all of the source material. Season 11 adapted the final arc of the comics. They did not adapt the storyline from the final issue, but it is not at all related to what's going on in these spin-offs. The CRM is only in the show. Daryl's trip to France (and hell, Daryl himself) was not in the comics. Maggie and Negan joining forces, and then going on an adventure to New York, absolutely did not happen. Everything coming out now is completely original.

Jadis and Rick have history. That's why she has a file on him. There are things about him she knows but can't say, but once she's dead it doesn't matter.

I must be the only one that thinks Beale, Jadis and Okifor are the “resistance” so to speak. I think whomever is above Beale is the big bad. We have to remember, they are structurally identical to the pre apocalypse US ARMY so Beale only being a 2 star has 3 ranks above him before he could be the “leader”. Rick and Michonne will kill them at the summit because they’ll all be there and the rest of the crew is brought in or now an ally of the crm. Remember, theyre now all in the same vicinity. The Bricks is in NY or New Jersey, dead city is manhattan, Daryl was picked up in Maine. I think New Babylon is an ally of the current CRM (they mentioned methane production) so i think that N.B. And CRM are working to take manhattan but i think theyll fail until rick and michonne take over and they end up working with negan and the rest of our crew via the commonwealth and their gear etc.
And once most of the leadershipnis gone the CRM will be is REAL disarray...they've killed any leaders down the line or didn't allow leader types in to begin w so how do u run a military when no one in the lower ranks can think for themselves or knows how to lead

I was told the CRM isn’t allowed to question or talk to the civilians about anything at all. The CRM tried to change that but it didn’t happen. Now how could someone get that information about the show I have NO idea but it sure made me feel better so I’m running with it!

The comics do not ever include/mention the CRM. The last arc of the comics deals with Pamela and the Commonwealth, where Rick dies and Carl takes over, the comics are actually Carl basically telling his kids the story of his father Rick. Technically the final ending of the comics go way into the future and show Carl as a father himself where he gets into a legal dispute over killing someone's walkers so that would be the only part of the comics that go past the CRM arc of the show timeline wise. However given that the show took a pretty radical departure from the comics by killing off Carl, and also Rick leaving, as well as there never being a CRM, I think it's safe to assume that the current territory of the show is completely unchartered in terms of the walking dead storyline/lore, and I am excited to see where they go with it!

The show has often switched arcs between the show and the comics in order to keep the show from being exactly like the comics, just like how Andreas comic arc was extremely similar to Carol’s show arc as well as michonne’s. In the comics Andrea is a total baddass with a sniper who gets with Rick after loris death, basically a combination of Carol and Michonne
Something I don't see anyone talking about is the fact that they took out Omaha, and now they are building a staging base just south of Portland. They obviously want to be the only Super Power. Once Portland is gone, they'll start wiping out smaller communities, like the "Commonwealth." I think Season 2 will be the start of a war between CRM and Commonwealth.
I saw the TWD poster on Netflix many times. But I didn't get excited and ignored it. But I like the survival genre very much so decided to watch season 1 first episode and I completed all 11 seasons in 2 weeks in last month. What a set of Characters. Extraordinary characters and bonding. I loved Rick, Daryl, Herschel, Carol, Ezekiel, Judith, Negan, Henry, Lydia, Carl, Eugene, Rosita. After Rick disappeared in season 9, I lost interest for a while. But continued to watch for Daryl and others and those episodes were also good. I loved Daryl, he can't show his emotions , trying to hide them but we can still feel his feelings. I liked that very much. And in all seasons, Carol character development is top, from getting beaten to save all. And big old man Herschel, I loved his character too, so nice, felt it would have been good if his character had more episodes. Ezekiel character was so nice. I liked Judith's little bravery. And Negan, I hated him at first but I forgave him even though Maggie didn't forgive him when he changed and sought forgiveness. It would have been very nice if Henry and Lydia had more episodes. Carl deserved more and more episodes I don't know why they killed the character. Eugene and Rosita were good too. I miss them. And Rick's aura, attitude and performance was really awesome. Wanna see more of him. Finally, I want the reunion season real quick.

I know they mention how michonne doesnt know all that rick does about crm and getting away but personally i think it would have been better staying and trying to take out the higher ups at the summit coming up. Michonne takes them out of the helicopter when she has seen what crm does first hand with the gassing and know seen jadis there and you gotta think michonne isnt so dumb not to put 2 and 2 together and how at risk alexandria would be and their children.

Actually, some citizens are already questioning the CRM. In episode 1 when Rick was meeting up with Esteban at the park inside the city, there's a very brief scene where 2 person are holding signs asking for CRM Transparency, it's the scene when Rick was walking to hug Esteban. Take another look at that episode. Something's going to happen during the summit, definitely.
Also regarding Jadis, during Okafor's funeral, Beale said something like your enemy can become your salvation and the camera panned out at Jadis (with Rick further behind). As much as I hate Jadis, I think she's better than Thorne at the moment. She said she believes in the place and the future. Thorne kept saying she's not Okafor and she doesn't agree with Okafor's way 💯, meaning she has tendency to follow whatever Beale asks of her. She's actually a B to me. Okafor would have covered for Michonne through and through, but Thorne felt threathened. Rick is a strong A, and I genuinely think that Okafor trusted Rick with his program more than Thorne. And yes, I think Thorne will die.
