That is incredible.. i played this game when I was like super little and so I started playing it again a couple weeks ago, and I beat it the first time in like 22 hours and 30 ish minutes I think, with a little help from the fandom but not much. I’m sorta speedrunning it right now without a route, and I have beaten the first 5 guardians in about 2 and a half hours. Also one thing I would like to point out (and correct me if you cant do this..) but I watched an any% speedrun of la mulana and there was a glitch where you could enter a shop and then leave it but sorta not leave it at the same time, so the shop would still be available and you could mix and match prices and do things like buy ammo for the pistol for 10 gold. It was the any% RTA run by Timopy with Awesome/Summer Games Done Quick. If you could implement that I think you might not have to collect so many item fairies to get a lot of gold. I don’t know if you can do that though for this category, as I remember in the any% run they had to buy the lamp of time at full price to set the flag, or something.. but it’s just a suggestion if you want to check it out.

And I have a question.
I’ve been trying to figure out how to do the thing where you jump into the corner of a wall and can go through the wall, and I actually accidentally did it a few times in my first run, which was quite annoying because I didn’t want to do it and I had to travel back to where I was.. but how do you do that???

This is the most vast and complex metroidvania in existence... if this game looked like castlevania and the sprites were more adult? this game would be the ultimate game in the metroidvania category but other than the looks? this game is magnificent.

To be honest the game has AZTEC references,I have studied _spanish ended years ago_ and I heard about *Tezcatlipoca,5th sun* and else,first term is one of the minibosses from the 2nd game,so it's pretty sure the game is *mexican based* than simply an asian built

You are correct, as it has references from the Aztecs. It also has references from several other video games, as well as many different cultures and even some of the bosses are named after gods of different religions. This game is a collective of numerous different resources and references.
