Great Looking Car! (GLC reference, anyone? 😅). Speaking of GLCs, as a suggestion, how about you guys build a Mazda MR 90/Baby Boomer (or even vantrend!) itasha? Would be heckin' awesome 🤩

Wow this is amazing guys, great restoration of an old classic. It actually is a fun car to drive (if it was your first car), 0-100 back then was 15s hahaha. I do have a question though, what kind of suspension and exhaust did you put in? I've been a bit stumped with my long forgotten project. I've got a 1988 BF with the B3 swapped out to a B6 SOHC.. it's not 15s no more.. Would appreciate any advice or pointers.
Honestly, the springs are from eBay, no name brand 🤣 but shock absorber itself is an OEM item. It rides ok, a tad bouncy, but manageable. Exhaust in this one is still standard, well with a muffler delete 😆
@@BuiltbyApes 🤣 thanks a heap. I went with the OEM shocks as well but the stock springs are pretty wobbly. Upgraded front disks to vented OEM ones, think from a BG, a Momo steering and a 4" RPM gauge. Awesome you guys managed to source a digital gauge. That only came in the GTX i think. A fun build guys. Love this car, it being a hatchback and old makes it the perfect size for driving. Kudos!
@@wildsteadings the SOHC B6 is a straight drop in to the B3.. no mods for the mounts etc. The B3 has some grunt since it's an old hatch, but you will feel the difference. I haven't managed to time 0-100kph, nor redline it cos my gauge went bust.. but I have a video somewhere lol.. I've also swapped in some vented disks for the front as well. And if you could get your hands on a B6ZE, that would be mad! Isn't the muffler delete too loud?
We got so lucky! Hahahahh we found it in one of the local shop here in Jakarta. The 323 used to be big in the 80s here like how a civic is now. So some new old stock might still linger in an old dark alley somewhere in the city
The fenders are AE86 item. The rear spoiler and lip are Civic EF hatch item. Which you can get on eBay. The rest is basically going to junkyard, meets, whatsapp group, and other weird/lucky finds 😁
@BuiltbyApes Wow) It's stunning for me that the parts from civic and ae86 suit to mazda323 :D. So, the other parts that you found on a junkyard, meets, ws - is the custom\personal details but not the original staff from gtr, gtx, other cars, etc.?

Whaaa thankss!!!
As a rocket scientist, I would not be able to do this myself! This stuff requires skill and experience
