Finally someone who gave this car a fair review! My Lexus UX 200 works for me! I’m petite and the size is perfect for me, not to small and not too big! I love taking it to work and it’s perfect for the NYC environment! I love the safety features cause NYC has crazy drivers and people pop out of nowhere!

I bought mine last year. So far, so good. Starts at $34,000 but with all the extras, it went up to 42,000. Mine has GPS. With less than $40, you'll have enough gasoline to travel more than 7 hours. Ohhh, and I love to drive it in the Sport mode.

The UX may be a bit less flawed than the C-HR, I still think it is an overall good (and welcome) new entry into this segment. Just needs more polishing on the powertrain for me to rate it significantly higher (yes, I know, the new 2.0L I4 and CVT are wonderful new powertrains when I tried out the new Corolla Hatchback, but they simply won't work in an entry-level luxury vehicle like this. Hell, they would work a helluva lot better if they were in the C-HR than in this thing).
Regardless, the UX is still a good vehicle overall despite some of its flaws. Good job still, Lexus!

I like Lexus but personally they piss me off.... they make these great looking Cars but they give them absolutely no power, especially compared to other competitors even if just as an option.... i.e the ct200 was actually a nice little hatch but it didn’t make it here in North America bc it was all looks with no brains and they advertised it has this green speed demon and all it turned out to be even though they said it wasn’t is a glorified Prius.... even Volvo is beating there behinds in the power train department.... I really hope Lexus realizes one day that you can make a great looking car all you want to but if you don’t offer a more powerful engine at least as an option in there entry level cars like BMW and Mercedes with there entry A class or Alfa Romero, then they’re setting there cars up for failure...... especially in the USA.

I drove a 2004 Lexus RX330. It has good oomph for a 6 cylinder Crossover for its time but, the acceleration is bottle necked by the fuel economy optimized 5 speed automatic transmission. It still looks very modern today especially with the optional factory xenon projector headlights and chrome appearance package. Impressive as it is, it was one of the mainstream luxury vehicles to feature LED brake lights, the leather seats are very comfortable, and the first luxury CUV to feature power tilt and telescoping steering column.

Lol, quantity doesn’t mean premium. What are you even talking about? You mean tech like CVT, or multimedia with graphics and fonts from the 1990s and no touchscreen, outdated gauges?

I drove a Lexus RX 300 for 16 yrs & loved it to death. I take excellent care of my vehicles & was told by 3 mechanics it is good for another 100K miles, at least. But, time for a new car with more safety features & fun stuff. I naturally wanted to replace my RX, but one look at the new Brook trout grill & I almost threw up. Does anyone remember the Edsel? Huge bomb. I refused to test drive the new Lexus or even walk onto the lot because of the hideous re-design with all the lines & angles & that horrid grill. I bought a Lincoln MKC instead & love every inch of it. The Lexus with all the creases, pinched lines & ridiculous pouting grill will be dated in no time & the re-sale value will suffer.

Lexus has been using this grill for awhile, and the resale value hasn't suffered. Do you realize how bad the resale value is on a Lincoln? That'll make you throw up.

I'm with you on the grille. I wish Lexus would just tone it down.

Yes it's crappy. It's slower than my 10 year old 2008 Scion xB that I gave my son which goes 0-60mph in 7.7 seconds and no turbo lag versus the Lexus at 8.9 seconds (I can't remember owning any car that slow since the late 1980s. slower than my 20 year old 1988 Honda Prelude manual transmission did it in 8.5 seconds.)
Wish there was an option for a bigger engine. CVT transmission=deal killer for me.

rear looks very ugly and weird shape on UX. NX looks much better but wish there was 3.0 twin turbo with f sport option
