Thank you for taking the time to make this.
See the Thanks button under the video screen...
After watching this I realised my Gpz900r has screw on spark plug caps….Thanks, that’s going to make renewing the split HT much easier. I thought I was going to have to buy crimping tools and terminals.
Nice I didn't know that 👍
Thanks!
Excellent video

@@HorsepowerHouse Hey man, I changed out the spark plug cap on my wife’s ATV. Fires right up! But I think I spun it a few extra times cause I wasn’t sure if it was completely on. You don’t think that damaged anything do you?
Thanks very much
How can i add cable or what cable should.it be gage wise im working ke125
You just buy the spark plug wire kit for your bike. Don't overthink it.
@@HorsepowerHouse i cant find it im in canada and parts are a pain to find can i cut the cable of new ignition coil and add to the the existing wire
Or should i try just put new coil and making new holes to bolt on frame and wire it up to single black cable like i was planning to do from begining
@@JAMTOAM are you able to unscrew the cap? You will have to do that first. But why are you replacing it to begin with? Is there a problem? You might have to replace the entire assembly if you have an electrical problem.
Well there was no promblem with it 2 years a go the cap is unscrewed off just cable it to short to screw back on and get ignition plug to fit in to tight i need to be honest like 2 to 3 inch more if cable.to fit im nice
Firstly, thanks for the video!
Secondly, quick question: are different spark plug cap better than OEM? I run a CR250 and I'd like to know if that minor change makes any difference.
Thanks! Peace and gas!
Shouldn't make much difference. Stick with OEM.
I have a 95 ignition coil and I’m looking for a new one but the replacement has only a single terminal on the side. The oem 95 ignition coil has two terminals I know one is a black ground wire I’m assuming and the other is a yellow wire. If I buy a new replacement coil where will I ground my black wire? If that makes sense
Sounds like you have bought the wrong one.
@@HorsepowerHouse it specifically said oem replacement for 95 yz125 ignition coil. The orange wire I guess is the cdi wire. Black is ground. Can I just ground the black wire to the frame and it should work?
"it?" You mean the eBay ad from the China importer/exporter? You know not to trust those ads... Get the correct one.
@@HorsepowerHouse 🫡 thanks for the advice, you’re like the 3rd person who told me not to buy a eBay coil.
I have bought them too. And many if them did not work - or they failed in short time. I no longer get spark plug wires, or anything relating to "spark". I don't trust them.
