Hey there, friends! 😊 I’m sure many of you have heard the buzz about the Harry Potter: Magic Awakened developers and the possible move of accounts from Warner Brothers to NetEase. While we’re still waiting for official confirmation, there’s a cool new option to save your personal data as a code for transferring to any NetEase server!
Here’s a quick guide to help you get started:

1. **Create a New Account**: Set up a new account with a different email than your Warner Brothers account, or create a NetEase account.
2. **Start a New Character**: Once your NetEase account is ready, create a brand-new character. You can overwrite this one with your existing character later.
3. **Save Your Code**: Log into the game, go to settings, scroll down to misc, tap on saved progress, and copy that code somewhere safe.
4. **Download the NetEase App**: If you haven’t already, grab the NetEase app for the game. I’ve linked a helpful guide here:

5. **Start the Game**: Open the NetEase app, start a new game, and follow the steps in my video. Check that your character name isn’t already taken!
6. **Complete the Storyline**: After creating your new character, follow the storyline up to the sorting hat and choose the same house as your transferring character.
7. **Transfer Your Progress**: Once in your dormitory, go to settings, select misc, tap recreate game progress, paste the code you saved, and confirm. If you see your main character in the book, you’ve successfully transferred!

Just letting you know, I had a successful transfer on an account with the same email address as WB, a different gender, and a different house.

There is no option to recreate game progress in misc. just clear cache and set time

hi I’ve been trying to to transfer but I couldn’t find the place to put in the code in the netease version😭
Its doesnt give me that option for character paste part 😢

I tried to download the netease version of the app but it didn’t work. It said I need to go back to the US version of the AppStore but it doesn’t show up.

@@flxoxa. hi, for this reason you will have to contact NetEase support. They are usually really helpful at fixing this issue.

@@cclmpr You can take a screenshot and go to the gallery and hold to copy, you know when you hold a word and a blue rectangle appears and give you the option to copy or paste?

By the way anyone! I was having the " incorrect code" when attempting to transfer on my PHONE but after many attempts I decided to get on my pc. I signed into my pc client and attempted to transfer the code there and it went throught right away! so if anyone is having that issue and has a PC please attempt a transfer there and see if it works! Please lmk if this works for anyone! I just found out and idk if it’s a certain fix or just coincidentally worked for me but nonetheless it worked after many failed attempts on my phone.

@@baemon_haya You just need to use their normal website and after accessing the link, download the APK and install it.
Didn't let me transfer probably because I change the house, I even used a netease account but it doesn't let transfer, I also tried with an apple account and didnt worked and chose the original house I had. I might not be able to get it back again😅.

@@Bonnie-hpma iOS makes you input a payment option I have no subscriptions.Although I used my phone number and Chinese letters to make an account to download netease version.Please let me know asap When America can download the game again.

@@UmeKrew for android is a little different. You have to download the game using VPN OR from their website and you do not need to change your region.

Gow do you download the Netease version? I can't even find it. I want to swotch servers, but I can't do that if I don't know how to download Netease.

@@konimaru02 yes, it will work! It is recommended to use a different email or NetEase account.
I tried to copy code another account but when i am trying to paste other account thay said incorrect code
@@UzairAhmed-qp5ov some people also had this issue. You are not doing anything wrong. You just have to contact customer service and explain that you are getting a code error when transferring. After they review it, they will fix your code.
How do u download global I cant find it I can only get china and Taiwan which is cool but I can't understand a word and using Google translate is not fun

what if you did transfer the code more then one time in the same time like for 2 account is that going to save 2 copy of the account
Hi there, you can only use your code once. Make sure to use the code for your main account.

I maanged to turn everything in english, but on Reddit it looks like a lot of people got stuck like me on Zouwu instead of Ashwinder. None on these RUclips video told us to select BEFORE the server we wanted to go. NetEase replied to somebody on Reddit saying the transfer to another server is not doable.
@@MeenBack hi, you can move to another server by contacting NetEase. They will let you use your code. All you have to do is explain about the language issue.
I have a doubt. for example there is this cookie event now if I transfer my account will everything restart?

@@Sashafall all the progress you have made will transfer, the only things that wont transfer is your friend list and social club.

@@muhammedgunduz6564 hi there, unfortunately you can’t get a previous character code since WB servers closed back on October 2024. If you would like to play you have to start a new game.
@Bonnie-hpma But I learned from the order history that it is available I am entering a new game but there is no place where I can use the character code, it is also downloading and when the download is finished it starts over again, this is very annoying
What if I chose the different house will that make it not work?
I'm on raven claw in new account and in gryffindor in old one so if I put my character code in the new one will it work??
Also it works will my progress and gems, outfits in the new account will be there after transferring or will it all erase and get replaced by the old one

@@Survivor72110 yes, its okay it will override with your account and all your items will be transferred (card level, clothes, make up, gems etc..)

@@sparklelemons hi there, if you made this character on the NetEase version of the game, then you should be fine. They are inly closing servers managed by WB.

@@elijahbaker1828 don’t do this if your secondary is linked to your main. Even though the codes are different they are both linked somehow. You will lose the main if you use it.
