I went to the store today to finally see the S22 lineup in person and I really liked the Plus. It does seem a bit bigger than I thought but I don't mind it. The pink gold colour is prettier in person and I can't wait to get the phone 😭. This video definitely helps for when you first get the phone, thanks for the video!

This video helped me dial in some more customizations as well as allowing me to familiarize my self with the settings menu which is an ongoing process along with everything else. I didn’t know the s22 had an edge panel, I love that feature. The first time I ever used it was on my s6 edge. The edge panel was one of the biggest reasons I was about to choose the s22 Ultra over the s22+. But if I can have the edge panel then I’ll definitely choose the s22+. I’m coming back to Samsung from iPhone!

Have the same phone. For me, setup procedure on all of my Android devices since the dark ages... 1) Dark Mode display 2) Enable Nova Launcher (Prime) 3) Developer Options - Reduce Animation scale. (The rest is superfluous)
I want to add that in the edge panel, you CAN have two columns of app I was so disappointed thinking the new ONE UI didn't have it and even went to pay $2+ for an edge toolbar that had it Turns out once you add more apps to the edge, it will naturally flow into the second column... Wish there was a refund option in Samsung Store but no
If you use Goodlock's One Hand Operation+ you could use the nav bar and back gestures at the same time! And you could even customize what 6 of the gesture options could do.

If you have a Samsung, you HAVE to try Good Lock, I mean, with it you can't get further in terms of customisation, you can change everything. I even dropped Gboard for the Samsung keybord because of how good it looks and feels thanks to Good Lock. You should definitely make a video about it

I do agree that the Gboard is def better but then you lose out of the cute theme that you add even if you can customize the theme (if there is a way to get the samsung keyboard theme on gboard, someone please tell me! :). Would be cool to see video of whats new in this phone thats cool to make life easier - I used to have a google pixel 2 xl so excited to see the different features :)
if you want to customize your app icons, use shortcut maker, not x icon changer. I changed all my icons with x icon changer and they would disappear randomly. lots of their reviews describe the problem in more detail, but I tried shortcut maker and there hasn't been a problem! Shortcut maker also has other shortcut options and it lets you remove the app name!
Some more thigs to add would be enabling developer options and then putting the animation scale for all 3 to 1.5x and also changing the display to natural color instead of vivid and then in color adjustment using tritan and putting the slider to about half. Gives you non saturated colors thats color accurate :)

Yo, install samsung NavStar apps and turned on transparent bar. You will no longer have the annoying black/white bar at the bottom. Just the indicator left like in iOS

If youre switching to a new samsung Phone and you had your old device customized, just use the smart switch app. It will copy everything even a small detail
In my "phone career" I had 3 iphones and these navigation icons were unbearable for me. Since Samsung has improved since 2010 tremendously and Android as well, you can get a pretty similar experience as with an iPhone iOS12 or iOS13 version. I'm very happy with that.
