    Join the Montclair State University Wind Symphony and the North Penn High School Wind Ensemble as they present music from composers Bruce Yurko, Omar Thomas, Frank Ticheli, Julie Giroux, and others. Also featured will be the winner of the 2023-2024 Montclair Wind Symphony Concerto Competition.
    The North Penn High School Wind Ensemble is one of three concert bands at North Penn High School in Lansdale, Pennsylvania. The Wind Ensemble is one of the premier performing ensembles in the acclaimed North Penn band program, which consists of the aforementioned concert bands, as well as two jazz bands, Indoor Drumline, Indoor Color Guard, numerous small ensembles, and the 2021 USBands National Champion, Marching Knights. The 48 members of the NPHS Wind Ensemble were selected through competitive audition seeks to perform modern, progressive repertoire for the wind band as well as classics of the genre with the goal of exposing students to a rich and wide range of literature. Since 2019, the ensemble has been under the direction of Mr. Joseph J. Santanello. The Wind Ensemble has had the honor of performing at the 2010, 2014 and 2023 PMEA Conferences as well as the 2012 Music for All National Festival in Indianapolis, IN. They have been honored to perform concerts alongside prestigious collegiate programs such as West Chester University and Montclair State University.
