    Very well said, my classes start July 4th, and I haven't been to school since 2018 so I'm trying to learn as much as possible about the freshman college composition since it will take up 6sh for me.
    I will definitely keep watching your videos and see what I can learn. Thank you

    i took this test and didn't find it hard, but the multiple choice part i felt like i wasn't given enough time and felt rushed. i didn't even get to finish that part. Im not sure how i did as of yet. i didn't find the essay part very hard, i was just worried that it wasn't long enough. That tinner is a death sentence once it starts going.

    I’m confused about how we use sources for the test if we are not allowed access to any sources or internet while writing. I understand the importance of citation and using evidence but how am I supposed to pull the numbers and research from thin air on a topic I wasn’t informed about until after the test begins?

    • @CollegeHacked

    Excelsior University Nuring Program advisor stated that they dont except English Comp CLEP d/t not being graded by humans and that they are graded by computers... How true is this?

    • @CollegeHacked
      @CollegeHacked  Год назад

      I haven't heard anything about that. Very surprised EU wouldn't accept them. Maybe it's just their nursing school.

    • @katydid5088
      @katydid5088 Год назад

      I'm guessing their nursing program wants more number and statistics based variations to their composition course. Having helped a few friends through their nursing re-read, the essays for nursing are less rhetorical via emotional input but focus more on subject matter expertise, data or study limits via statistical analysis, and integration of research in broadscape public policy or health issues. All of this is more tailored than the CLEP exams which while being decent for a college undergraduate course, aren't specific or difficult enough to qualify for credit. For college credit in that space, AP tests which are only available to HS students are not only harder but deemed a more robust and rigorous testing experience than standard CLEP literature and composition. To my knowledge the best nursing programs have started requiring higher pass rates without curve for a statistics course, on top of algebra because the average graduate lacked more of the research evaluation skills that they deemed necessary to explain or understand treatment outcomes and/or explanations of care plans. It's rough for sure but anything based in research or a higher paid speciality is mired in statistics and math when you're learning how to do it. (Source, the anesthesiologist nurse friend.) They go back and forth with the doctors picking standard anathestic assays for certain patient groups and genetic information/newer better studied Syndromes like Ehlers Danlous Syndrome EDS are tricky to work with, now that we understand some of their biomechanics and risks.
      EDS causes excessive elasticity in cartilage and the muscle fibers of the heart meaning, at least by inference with disease pathology, that certain types of sedation or operative approaches are no bueno. They'll try everything but surgery because risk for sudden cardiac arrest and complications afterwards are higher than others with the high risk of suboptimal healing after a procedure simply by causative effects of the disease.
