That's a very informative video thanks. I'm currently playing about with rain water harvesting concepts, and this has given me some great ideas for filters. I'm surprised at how easily water flows through the 74 micron!
Exactly the video i am looking for. Thanks for sharing!
Can you tell us that which membrain is used to purify, after making a biodiesel ?
I need a filter for 5micron size alga water? What micron u recommended?
For home brewing (Beer) how many Micron you recommend, to filter Grains sediment and Hops before fermentation??
Thanks!!!
400 micron for grains, 300 micron for pellet hops.
Super video
What's your guys' take on biodiesel, are people/individuals still doing it as much? Are businesses still charging to take WVO off their hands or is it free again? Just interested to hear what you guys have to say about it
I need a filter for tile grout water. What micron would you recommend?
I'd go with either 100 or 74 micron. Hit our website & click on the Stainless Screen comparison link & it'll have some awesome close ups of all of our meshes. That'll show how tight the mesh is.
any name brand for that products ?
Remove exaces amount of methanol catalyst and soap and oyher impurities by memrain?
joelyboyblue, yes. People are still doing it, but not as much anymore. Business are being paid for their oil these days; particularly in urban areas. There's still rural area's where you can get it for free, but it's becoming increasingly less prevalent.
+Graydon Blair Sad but true!
If you are using any crude vegetable oil for biodiesel do you need to refined it before using it for biodiesel.
It's best to filter the crude veg oil down to about 300 micron before trying to refine it into Biodiesel. You also want to get rid of any water in it as well.
Thank you very much
i watch your video a lot and i have questions to ask if possible
I'd be very interested to see how quickly those buckets filled up if they were dropped (submerged) into a bath tub of water. An out to in experiment, rather than in to out.
That's a great idea. I'll add it to my list of videos to do sometime in the future
Excellent, thank you.
What types of ss ?? Is that 304 or 201 ??
How did you fasten the Micron screen?
These are all welded together.
