I guess the critical commentator thought that we preferred to hear him blather on rather than continue to be enthralled by the transporting magic of the performance.
This was hypnotic. Everyone knows (commentator) that their edges and skating are the best already. Obviously, likes another couple. The comments were absurd. The difficulty of these moves are incomparable. That's why they got a 10 and won the competition. I guess you missed that Mr. Commentator.
In the days before skaters had conditioning coaches Jayne demonstrates tremendous core strength. Unlike the Eastern Europeans they didn’t have anyone to help them with their fitness they just did what they thought would help them. I think Toller is overlooking the fact that this programme was designed for an audience and not judges. Oh just when he’s finished saying how inappropriate the prop was they brought it back at the end to complete the programme.
I love them to bits, but some of their performances I just do not get. What matters most is that they continue with their innovation. Scoring for this pair has become irrelevant. They have raised their sport into an art form. I don't expect to follow everywhere they go with it, but it seems the commentator cannot let go of his notions of a dog and pony show. They are not skating by the book. They are writing their own pages.
Just so superb!! Artistry in motion. Well deserved maŕks

This is surely as good if not better than Bolero!
