I really like how mature Kuwabara has become. The fact that he knows and admits that while he may be strong, he could not contest with beings like Mukuro and Yomi, speaks volumes of how much he's grown. I really hope he ended up having a good future.
He isn't actually far off, by the end of the manga its implied his powers surpasses that of sensui, and he does compete in the second Makai Tournament, but yeah arguably he'd never equal the other man's power levels.

I feel the same. There are many times throughout the YYH seasons where it felt like banter you would have with close friends, the character development & dub quality did a lot to make these interactions so memorable.
The convos here are possible due to complex characters and impressive character development... Something that only yu yu hakusho and fairy tail have mastered Other animes just feel like a movie where every scene is rehearsed

I don't know about that, but Kuwabara is probably the most impressive character to me. He faced down Team Dr. Ichigaki without fighting, he beat a ninja master while his body was visibly collapsing, and he *demolished Toguro*. Yusuke is awesome because he has almost infinite power; Kuwabara is awesome because he never gives in.

If Kuwabara was there to cheer Yusuke on just like how Yomi's son, it could have ended differently since Kurama heard Kuwabara's spirit in the background during Yusuke's fight, so if he was there physically, he could have changed an outcome of a fight or two. That is what Kurama meant.

I actually appreciate that he's NOT bishie. He's very handsome as he is, but not so much in the first arc so you really appreciated his character more for his loyalty and honor. As the series goes on he gets better and better looking though :)
His voice was more feminine, but it matched his character. And his dialogue seemed more in tune with his image. In the english version his voice didnt seem right to me. It was like they were forcing it which made him appear more feminine than he already was. Imagine a girly looking guy talking with a deep, soft ass voice in front of you, and imagine a girly looking guy speaking with a voice with a lighter pitch. His voice was more feminine, but it matched his character. And his dialogue seemed more in tune with his image. In the english version his voice didnt seem right to me. It was like they were forcing it which made him appear more feminine than he already was. Imagine a girly looking guy talking with a deep, soft ass voice in front of you, and imagine a girly looking guy speaking with a voice with a lighter pitch. The one with the lighter pitch would seem more natural. In my opinion at least

This is no longer the case for today's manga and anime. Guys that looked like Kurama are the hot stuff for fangirls and some fanboys. Back then the masculine standard was downright sexist.

Kazuma never enter the Demon World Tournament because His Older Sister Shizuru told Him to stay Home and Focus on Getting into Prep High School Kazuma agree to retire from Fighting so He could Study instead of Fighting Demons.
He's not a demon. Even if Kuwabara wanted to fight in the Makai tournament he couldn't because it was an all demon tournament - no humans allowed.
