My favourite episode. Yeah, the introduction to Mikey and Draken is the greatest thing. The animation isn't terrific but I fell in love with the story as soon as those two were introduced. Life changing introduction, for Takemichi and me. heh.
@@kriegnes They could animate this like Way of the Househusband and I'd still love every frame. Liden isn't Mappa, that's all I meant. Wakui's early art for this arc is exquisite and highly detailed and had to have been a pain in the ass to render into an animated format. They had to simplify and redesign characters a bit to make the work easier for themselves, and it's still hard work. I don't envy animation teams at all.
