Nicholas Varley mine didn’t come with remote start. In the process of trying to get them to install it for free. The sales person didn’t know and just told me the app could start the car. @@justinfobare101295 $400 isnt bad when considering how much it would have cost you over the lifetime of the loan.
It's worth the money though if you have the cash for it. Normally its $600.

Nicholas Varley lol I tried doing the same thing! They told me I couldn’t switch them out for all seasons and the first day it snowed in Michigan I couldn’t get traction on my drive home. Slid past the entrance to my apartment lol. I know $400 isn’t a lot. But the fact that I was told that it comes with the car and I get it home and it doesn’t is kind of irritating. My 2014 Chevy Cruze came with both the app to start and two remote start keys. So for me getting the fully loaded and it not come with either for a 2020 is kind of mind blowing to me.

Love this car, literally traded my 6.4 Challenger for it. Needed a dad car.. but so far the Forte is amazing Pearl White version fully loaded average 39.7 mpg and I stay in the fast lane 75-80 mph. Has a fantastic collision avoidance system, lane keeping assist is cool it allows the car to drive on its own without my hands on the wheel (for a short time). All of the safety features can be adjusted to your liking. Heated and cooled seats, real nice infotainment, push to start. Got mine fully loaded under 22k OTD.

I don't know why people are buying the problem riddled Jetta 1.4t when they could get this car for less in many cases....... This Forte GT is more along the construction of the Jetta GLI. Thanks for the review. I own a 2020 Forte GT (only one, GT trim is available in Canada, not like GT 1/2 and fully loaded, ~29K CAD MSRP, DCT, 201 hp and 195 ft-lb torque, 0-60: 6.4 to 6.7 sec- not super fast car but good enough to smoke many cars in this segment). In addition to so many exceptional good features this GT slipper got, I would like to highlight few. It comes with UVO app including remote start, car heath check, climate control etc and 5 years free to use! The ambient lighting feature is really cool that can be customized according to the driving-mode or based-on your color preference! Rear view mirror with assistance of emergency service is an added benefit. CC/SCC (can control SCC from the cluster monitor when you use) works superbly with 10 unit change if you hold up or down for ~2 sec! Lane keeping, departure warning, forward collision assistance and blind spot monitoring are top notch! Auto trunk release is a good feature to have. Wireless charging of cell phones (upgraded android and iPhones only) can save you sometime. Built-in navigation in addition to android and apple car play is free for 5 years and pops the directions up in cluster monitor during use! Many cars do not have HK sound system and SiriusXM but Forte GT does. I love the driver seat adjustable lumber support, heated front seats, and steering wheel, rear cross traffic alert and rear air vents! Don’t want to say so much about the warranty! Handling capability and performance are very competitive with its rivals for sure (Civic SI, Elantra Sport, - Mazda3 sport/Corolla XSE??)! Both stick and DCT options are available in Canada. However overall interior of Forte GT could be lill bit better IMO but its not a deal breaker. Exterior look- eye soothing! At first I wanted to buy a Stinger, however due to some reasons I got this GT and I am in love with it (10K on my car now in 4 months). I had both Toyota and Honda cars in past, I have full respect to em, however I believe Kia/Hyundai/Genesis are doing great these days so I gave Kia a try! No regrets at all! Thanks and stay safe!

I have a manual 6 speed 2016 Forte, nice car in general, so far but the body metal is too thin. If you shut the door on the seat belt buckle it can dent the rocker panel or inner door well. I drill holes in both a Civic and it doing some undercoating. The Honda took several seconds with curling chips from the drill bit while with the Kia the drill just popped through like a beer can. The suspension also was lighter made with just thin stamped support arms in the front not boxed in welded members. There is more to a car than just the looks and the bells and whistles.

Too bad you left out how bad the seat is designed. It doesn't matter whether it's power or not if you have a seat that's not designed for a tall person like me. I have the 2017 standard Kia Forte and it doesn't seem like they changed the seat much on the 2020 I drove one and I sink into the right back corner and it forces me to be tilted toward the center console and the steering wheel forces me 2 have to reach up to my left to drive. My 2017 I bought used, I took it to two dealers not believing they designed it this bad. I'm forced to put a piece of foam under my right thigh and behind the right side of my back otherwise I end up tilting too far to the center. The steering wheel is far too small and just a little bit too far to the left it's not centered correctly if you're tall. Since I'm 6 feet 250 sounds and have a size 14 shoe can make a little difficult at times to maneuver. I told myself when I bought I just got to get used to it eventually. Next time when I go to trade it in I'll be more likely to look at American cars and stay away from the Japanese or Korean. I suppose there might be one that'll work for me or my size and I might have to look harder. Let's face it most Japanese and Korean manufacturers give the finger to tall people when it comes to their small and inexpensive cars. It's not about room for me it's about how how the seat is designed. Here's an example of the stupidity in controls on this seat...when you try to raise it to actually bring it forward too. Who thought this would be a good idea? if your tall you want to be able to raise the seat and not have it slide forward at the same time. For the price you're spending for this guy should be able to adjust the seat for comfort. Another problem I have with the 2020 Kia Forte is a very small gas pedal.
I found myself fumbling with my size 14 foot. It was impossible to get acclimated to this tiny accelerator pedal. If Kia would make an effort and that includes Hyundai the Elantra is basically the same car inside it would have something here. A little effort on making a better adjustable seat a larger steering wheel and moving it a little to the right would work wonders. By the way I tried the 2017 Toyota Corolla that's even worse. All the folks at Toyota I guess don't realize that we tall Americans have something called a left leg. Lean it against the door after a few hours you need an ice pack on your knee. But that's getting off topic just wanted to give my two cents

I recently purchased a brand new KIA FORTE GT2. Let me start by saying this is the 6th KIA product that I have owned. I think KIA has made a great product, but has really missed the mark with customer service and the Apple/Android car play. My Forte GT with the 2 package was a brand new car. After 3 days, I had a major electrical issues with my Forte. With only 300 miles on the car, every warning light and safety systems check came on . The lane departure system also started to attempt to steer the car on its own. The Kia dealer had the car flat bedded back to the dealership and provided a loaner. This was greatly appreciated. My calls to Kia customer service were useless. All you get is a KIA representative taking my info and telling me they would get back to me in a few days. The KIA reps only are able to read off a canned script. I would think if you purchased a brand new car and the car was faulty, KIA would go out of their way to make it right. It took KIA factory reps a week to diagnose and replace an electronic control unit. Let's talk about Apple/Android car play. KIA at one time had one of the best interface media and navigation systems on the market. It was extremely fast and easy to use. In order to use Apple/Android Car play you need to have it plugged into a cable in order to project your phone onto the screen and also to make calls. Let me repeat that, Apple car play needs a cable to plug into a usb port in order for it to work. That is absurd. Any car that I have owned you never needed a cable to plug the phone into in order to use bluetooth for voice recognition. Apple/Android car play is an incredible cumbersome system. I find myself having to pull over to use Google maps and to list the destination. Once the mapping is on the screen, any calls you may receive will remove the navigation. If your phone screen saver activates, you lose everything that is on the screen. If texts come in, it is virtually impossible to have them read to you. It is a huge disappointment. How KIA chose this over their old system is beyond me. Obviously a cost cutting measure. Imagine for over 10 years bluetooth never required you to plug a phone into a cable. Every other car I have owned since 2010 ,I was able to access my phone wirelessly and easily. There is actually an accessory for $159 dollars making the system wireless. How did Apple get their hands into KIA and basically ruined one of the best media systems on the market is beyond me.
The things I like about the Forte GT: The interior is well planned. The leather seats are very comfortable. I do love the styling of the car along with the 18 inch wheels. The Forte handles great with the multi link suspension. It has a huge trunk for a compact car. Gas mileage is excellent for mixed driving 34mpg. However, If I knew of how poorly Apple/Android car play works and poor KIA Factory customer service I probably would have passed on the Forte.

Just got mine yesterday. A 2020 with 3K miles with the GT2 package for 21500. I had to drive 300mi to get back home and it is a nice ride. Adapative cruise control is great. The seats are not leather but they are very supportive and comfy. The steering wheel is great. The turbo sound is just enough without over doing it. Slight lag in the DCT when at a stop. A nit pick is there should be a cover door in the console to enclose the charging pad and USB plug ins. Traded in a 18 Q50 which was no doubt nice but was overkill and I don't drive my personal car often since I have a company SUV so it was cost savings as well. Enough room in back for 2 adults. Trunk space is decent. I got Fire Orange and the black accessories contrast nicely with it.
