      Awesome that your getting back into the PS3 one of my favorite consoles and appreciate the positive feedback! That's Great if it helped you find some suggestions and hope you enjoy getting back into the PS3!

    Colton great video again. Good ps3 taste! I'd like to request that on videos like these where there's highlighted games...would you time stamp each game in the description? It gives us the option to easily find a title if we're rewatching! And also maybe make the game display portion of the actual video bigger. Maybe 2/3 or 3/4 the size of the screen during the game play or highlights. That way it's easier to peep what you're covering but still have you in the shot.
    Just trying to send some positive vibes your way...great content...we have very similar collections lol. It's gonna be interesting seeing how your videostyle changes as the channel grows over time. You're gonna hit 10k subs before you know it. The more peeps sub the more opportunities you have to get your name out there for more.
    Where does your total collection stand or like what ratio of games for each PS system? Are you into ps1?

      Hey Jeremy thanks again for tuning into one of my videos and for the fair and helpful suggestions. I figured out how to embed the timestamps correctly so I added them to both PS3 Hidden Gem and Underrated videos and will look to add them in future ones! I have had a few other people talk about the gameplay screens so I started to include like 20-30 seconds of full screen gameplay in my videos for each game (my latest one has that in).
      Always looking for positive vibes so thanks for commenting and watching and hopefully in my next couple videos I will show some improvement. Hopefully, the community can grow as you say I will try my best and just have fun with it.
      PS1 - 6 Games (I just started getting into picking some up but will only be collecting ones I played as a kid really)
      PS2 - 25 Games
      PS3 - 152 Games
      PS4 - 101 Games
      PS5 - 8 Games
      PSP - 20 Games-ish
      PS Vita - 25 Games

    Great video brother! Enjoyed most of these myself. Imo Binary Domain is one of the best games of this generation. A true hidden gem

    • @coltonsnerdycore
      @coltonsnerdycore  3 года назад

      Happy you liked the video and Binary Domain is one I saw in the stores all the time but never picked it up myself, took a look after reading your comment and looks like a game right up my alley! Kind of resembles another game I just played through Inversion in a way and the enemy types look wicked. Thanks for the suggestion!

    I was very specifically seeking out a split-screen racing game to play local multiplayer on the couch for the PS3 and that is how I originally discovered Split/Second. :-) To my delight, the game was quite original and a blast to play! It also had a PSP version, which I also ended up buying. Really great game... and definitely a hidden gem. Also is one of the only split-screen racers you can get on the PS3! :-)

    • @coltonsnerdycore
      @coltonsnerdycore  Год назад +2

      Honestly it's good to hear that the split-screen runs well on the game, which adds even more value to the game for a lot of people I'd think, so really appreciate posting this comment about it to let people know! Spit Second has to be one of the most unique racers I have ever played and it's always refreshing to find a game like it!

    For underrated gems for the PS3 I would recommend Killer Is Dead, Dragon's Crown, Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom, WipeOut Fury HD, Blur, Folklore, Ace Combat: Assault Horizon and Puppeteer.

    • @coltonsnerdycore
      @coltonsnerdycore  3 года назад +1

      Those are some great shout outs! Dragon's Crown I have always debated on getting the PS4 edition with the cool steelbook and Wipeout is such a good racing series on the PlayStation I play 2048 on the vita mainly.

      @coltonsnerdycore  Год назад

      Thanks! Really stoked you liked the video! Sleeping Dogs is a fantastic game and was a really just a good time to playthrough. Kind of like a mesh of early Saints Row and GTA 3 and 4 which is a great formula. Melee combat had to be my favorite part of the game along with the story . Who knows it could end up on part 3 if I ever get to doing another!

      @@coltonsnerdycore Yeah dude! Melee combat in Sleeping Dogs is still one the best or prolly the best! Have you seen a reaction vid of 2 martial artists reviewing the combat of the game? They were suprised it was that realistic!

    In your 2019 ps3 game collection video you said you hadn't played spec ops the line yet, have you played it since then? I think it could be one of the biggest hidden gems of that generation, just on its story arch alone. Unfortunately gameplay wasn't great in it though.

    • @juanpineiro4507
      @juanpineiro4507 3 года назад

      The story can be a movie that’s how good it is , especially with the twist towards the end and multiple endings.

      I haven't played it yet but I have made it a goal this year to start back into more PS3 games, I have been receiving a lot of positive comment about the game so I will make it my next game I play, just finishing Yakuza like a Dragon at the moment. Thanks for the comment and suggestion!

  • @arioca

    I just found out about your channel and I agree with most games you're choosing as good, however I don't think they're necessarily hidden gems since many of them are compatible on Xbox One/Series consoles. As a matter of fact most of the games you're showing perform better natively on the Xbox 360, and they're further improved via emulation on Microsoft's later consoles.

    • @coltonsnerdycore
      @coltonsnerdycore  Год назад

      I get what your saying in that the PS3 version of a good chunk of games are not the best optimized versions compared to other consoles. This video is meant more of a recommendation video of games for specifically people collecting on the PS3 in this case, so in terms of just the library of PS3 games they count as hidden gems is my view. Thanks for the comment and information tho!

    All driving games are overrated to me, they get boring real quick + the AI (s) are all cheaters.
    Singularity should be on your first list :)
    The Duke can stay hidden. even for nostalgia's sake. Too many better shooters out there.

    • @coltonsnerdycore
      @coltonsnerdycore  Год назад

      Fair enough, it's probably just a genre that your not into that much, like Turn based games for me give me that same feeling besides a few.
      The lists aren't numbered in any way but yeah Singularity is an awesome game and am glad to see a lot more people talking about it in the past year specifically!
      hahaha yeah true it's not a top tier FPS but that is why I have it in the Underrated game section since I just think its not as bad as the 1-3 out of 10's people give it. The PS3 has some amazing shooters and honestly is one of the best genres in terms of quality on the console imo.
      Thanks for the comment and discussion!
