    Great video. As an owner of a 2020 Clio myself I found this very interesting. I'll be sure to check out your other videos on your Clio. Very well presented video. Thanks, Felix.

    Hi Felix, good to see that you enjoy your Clio as much as I enjoy my Clio. I have my Rouge Flamme coloured Clio RS-Line TCe 130 EDC for more than a year now and I have driven 13.000 kilometers so far. As I have an iPhone 12 Pro, I use Apple CarPlay instead of Android auto and never experienced any problems. Hopefully, wireless Apple CarPlay will be available after future updates. Also I do have had problems with the daytime running lights. After leaving the car, the left front DRL went off while the other stayed on. My Renault dealership have fixed this issue but I cant remember how. I will look for my invoice to clarify what has been replaced!

    I now have my RS Line 1.3 Tce since July 2020. To say I love it is an understatement! (Had the original 5 GT Turbo, loads of issues but that was the 80s) In-between Volkswagen GTTurbo diesel 170 ps, 3 X Seat Bochenegra and a Cupra 180 ps DSG gearbox the best in the world! Renault 1.2 GT not great fuel economy! And now my RS Line. I only use Esso Synergy 99+ but it runs like a dream!!!

    Great review and update, just waiting for my rs line to arrive at the dealer, pity they don’t offer this engine with the automatic anymore as test drove one back in 2019 and loved it, and dealer didn’t know when any etech ones would be available so going for the petrol manual.

    Thanks for the honest review. I’ve ordered my Renault Clio in the middle of August also in urban grey colour, but at the beginning of September, Renault dealer told me they have stopped producing Clio in this colour, and asked me to pick any other colour free of charge, since we have already signed the papers before they made this decision. So I guess you’re lucky to have it in urban grey, it is really nice one.

    Great video, love these updates. Do you have any issues with the front parking sensors at all? I have an E-Tech RS Line hybrid and recently the front sensors seem to work whenever they want to - sometimes I'll park up and the sensors don't kick in, then when I leave and put the car into reverse, only then do they decide to work. Very intermittent though as sometimes they do work fine.

      Be useful if you could check your software version for Felix (on the touchscreen, press the icon - six dots at the bottom, then car info, then system at the bottom, then software update and the version will be shown). We also have the E-Tech Launch Edition. Not had that problem yet!

    • @fgardner
      @fgardner  2 года назад

      Hi there, yes I have noticed the front parking sensors being very slow to detect they are close to something but the rears seems to be fine for me. I really think it's all in the software as Brett says - Renault needs to work on improving things ASAP!

      @ksells 2 года назад

      @@brettcolley3789 Just checked and I'm on the same version as you - 283C39022R. Have had the car for around 3 months and haven't had any software updates yet, weird though as the front sensors were 100% reliable at first

    • @ksells
      @ksells 2 года назад

      @@fgardner Thanks for replying Felix, yeah exactly the same behaviour for me - rears have been faultless but the fronts are definitely slow sometimes, and it can't be distance related as they do kick in when I go into reverse. Annoying but hopefully a software update fixes it soon!

      @@ksells I’ll check the front sensors next time I use the car. Worth checking your easy link map update as well. Seems that despite telling you that the over the air system will deliver map updates, it doesn’t. Our new 21 plate (4 months old), the U.K. maps were stuck on 2019. Used Renault map toolbox and downloaded the latest maps onto a usb stick and then into the car. They’re now on 2021 maps.

    I too have a clio, 2022 model to be exact. Just today I hit another car's towing hook causing a 2 cm dent right above the license plate to the left. It also formed a 2 cm crack in the area to the bottom left side of the Renault logo. I got extremely demoralized due to these events but could have been worse. I think I will get it fixed next week.

    Our own 2021 Clio with the Easylink 9.3 screen has been on version 283C39022R since May 2021. I understand from the Zoe forums that there is another version due shortly as well. When I check for updates it currently still says version 283C39022R is the latest.

      Thanks for your comment Brett - this is incredibly interesting! So bizarre the Renault is telling me the software is the latest version... I guess I''ll have to wait until it decides to do another OTA update. I really hope this comes soon and my Android Auto comes back properly - it was working near-perfectly before the trip to the dealer. Appreciate you watching, cheers!

      Our Clio has now this morning installed the latest OTA update and its gone from version 283C39022R to 283C35202R. One change I've noticed (we have Multi-Sense) is that now when you tap the Multi-sense piano key it toggles through My-Sense, Eco and Sport. Never did that before. Hopefully your car will also get this update and perhaps fix some other things like the Android auto trouble you have. Change logs are not officially available, but online European forums are starting to put together small lists of noticed enhancements/fixes.

    Great car. French car maker getting something right for once but sadly electrical issues seem to be a negative point. Cars are too complex these days, the more tech you have, the more can go wrong. Most people do not need all this stuff on a car, they think they do but you can live without a lot of it. Ive no reversing sensors or camera, no lane assist, no DAB, no electric rear windows, no electric mirrors, once you set them and the car is only driven by you, why would you ever need to adjust them again ? You probably wouldn’t, its one of the most pointless features in a car. I have no touch screen either which is a distraction at best and also no cruise control. Can you guess my car ? Its a Dacia Sandero with the 0.9 TCE engine. Comfortable and does the job without any fuss.

    Hope you are still happy with the car.
    Android auto is pure crap, regardless of wich car you have, its laggy, slow and if you use the nav, the nav is so slow that you miss turns or exits in cities.
    Android auto is like the wish/chinese copy version of carplay, apple carplay is way way much better
