I made it yesterday. It really hardened up in the loaf fast. I’m so glad l checked on it before bed. It took all my strength and a knee to cut through. I thought for sure my strings were going to break. 😂 I cleaned the edges today and shaved them a bit. Those strings had a hard time. I was pleasantly surprised at how the smell is so clean. A huge thanks for this recipe. It will be safe for my 2 great grand babies coming in February and both my granddaughters sensitive skin. It’s a beautiful natural soap. 👋🤗💜
@@NelsonInteriorSoapery I did check it. It was red, l thought l was going to rebatch it. Left it alone all day to re do the next day. So when l tested it that night it was green and good to go. Thanks for replying and thinking of the safety issue.
Thank you so much for sharing your recipe. I’ve been hunting for a safe recipe for my 2 Great grandbabies coming in February. I need a sensitive one 👋🤗👍
Looks lovely! Just simple, creamy looking and I’m sure feels great in the skin. I actually love Castile soaps and want to make a bastille in like this. 🥰
Dear Madame Rhonda, lovely as always, I think the same baby bar, or similar was done by you, before, as I recalled too. I am big fan of Shea butter too, so this is very clever soap formulation indeed. Enjoy, all the best, our support as always and yes, Conference was big hit, so keep going, lovely, lovely bar of soap, bravo!
I make a similar bar but with a little sweet almond oil (I’m going to remove it next time because my son seems to be getting a nut allergy) so it’s good to have a recipe with out it thanks!. I made a lot of breast milk soap. It’s a lovely bar! But yes a softer bar by nature have let it cure a lot longer then my other bars
@@NelsonInteriorSoapery Thank you! ❤️ I have a friend who moved to Australia I will be telling him to shop at your place, he loved my products that I learned from you 🙃 and I will get him to say tarragold sent me 🙃🙃
@@NelsonInteriorSoapery Thanks for the response. I have to admit that has happened to me with other heated recipes quite a lot so good to know this one could do it. I love your recipes. Thank you for sharing.
@@NelsonInteriorSoapery OK will do. That's lower than I have been doing. I have a grand baby arriving in three months so I am going to make a batch of this now so it can start curing. :)
I buy all from pure candle supplies in cirnside park. Most Candle fragrances can be used for soap making . Most suppliers will explain whats right for soap making
I am curious as to what "non-cleansing" implies.. when i use soap its because i want to clean something, so i have to assume this means something other than "doesnt remove dirt and germs"
Its for baby and babies do not need cleansing as their skin is to soft. All soap washes you but when you add coconut oil its cleanses at higher levels and the properties change due to ingredients and to the percentages they are used at. Soap making is a real science

If it was that hard please check it’s not lye heavy as it should not be so hard to cut

Honestly its a gorgeous soap. I also love triple butter soap with pink french clay
I found a beautiful bastille for babies using carrot purée and buttermilk. It’s just lovely
That sounds nice to. Ive made a few variations and they always sell out
So beautiful and natural! Thank you for sharing!
You are so welcome!
Awesome Rhonda, thank you for sharing💕💕💕

Yes its a gorgeous bar and lovely on the skin. Baby has gentle skin so i try to keep all bars feeling perfect
Amazing recipe as always. How do I enter this into a soap calculator
You need to go and tap in the numbers or % into soap calc. I have done videos explaining how to use it
Thank you mama Rhonda your amazing.
Q, can you use cocoa butter instead for f Shia butter?
Thank you again ❤
Yes you can but you would need to put it back to soap calc. Also she is more conditioning . 💋💗💋

@@tarragold6573 oh thank you sweetheart. 💗
Just curious about the temperature of your oil when you add the lye. Is it room temperature?
Its room temp. If its not then the mix can come to a false trace or thicken to fast

@@CathyNewton its important to have both lye and oils at or below 25 celcious

How old baby can use ❤
This soap can be used by anyone but testing is a must
Okay thanks
Hi, Wondering where is a local place to purchase soap fragrances. I live in the South-east suburbs
Thanks
