Solid, honest review, Curtis 👍 I can see that style of unit having quite a broad appeal. Certainly practical from an "eyes on the road" point of view, great for keeping your phone safe, and good for older eyes that struggle with smaller, vibrating phone screens. Cheers mate 😎👍
Thanks for the interesting video! I really like the Beeline moto; it's also just an indicator unit that works off the GPS + map in your phone but it's about the size of a big watch and only gives arrows and distance as indication. It's strange at first but easy after a while and you truly get to enjoy the landscape a lot more than just looking at some electronic map on a display.
You should really Learn how to create a power switched Circuit, really easy using a simple relay, basically use your running lights as a trigger to turn on a circuit, this will prevent any battery drain as it only turns on when you put the ignition on. :) hit me up if you want me to explain it further but YT has a ton of videos explaining this... Love your Videos Mate! Cheers From South Africa!
Quad Lock have a smart adaptor for $50 that I installed inline. Nice & easy - Turns off when volts drop below 12.5v & turns on after 13.5v so basically as you turn the ignition on/off so does the unit attached. Comes with a Usb A end so I now charge gopo & drone batteries while I'm riding but would work with a nav unit as well. Love the vids mate, keep up the great work.
@@Marto_Rogue_ADV yeah that sounds like the go mate. At least it’ll protect the battery from loosing too much charge. Thanks for watching Dave much appreciated👍
I really can't understand why you need to buy a navigation unit like a zumo for $1000 when a phone linked to a screen can do almost everything a zumo can do,besides if you have a crash and total your navigation unit then it's a small cost compared to a vanity type unit.
@@barrybeech4774 not necessarily, you can download the google map area you want and use it offline. In most cases I just use it when I have service for maps.
Clean that bike ya pig…😉 good review bro…. I’d get one for the R1 but I never leave my 3km radius of work/gym…. Yip, I’m an adventurous C….. 😂 Good vid big dawg. 👍🏼

Absolutely mate couldn’t agree more👌
Good honest no bullshit review. Can you hold your finger down on the home button and move it around the screen like the hema hx1?
Oh I’m not sure I’ll have a look when I get home👌thanks for watching mate appreciate it👍
Does that mean you need to have phone coverage for Google maps etc to work ?

Hi Kurt. I purchased CarABC Android Auto Screen. What GPX viewer app are you using with it?
Ah awesome Greg, yeah I just use either google maps or Gaia maps both work well on there provided you trust google maps😅
Does the normal kit come with the USB power cable or is that an extra? Cheers
Hey mate it comes with both usb and battery terminal lead. I would just message them when purchasing to confirm though👍
comfy
