it brings back memories, my best friend had one like this, I had a Suzuki GT 100 I did envy the sound of his, but mine was way faster so he did envy that :D,we were kids at 16 when we had them but good times :D
The Honda super sport yea? All serial numbers began with CB100- ?! It was the bike used for Adam 12 series in the early 70s and I believe it was used in an obscure movie called the Darjeeling Limited. Motorcycles on Tv and movies FTW 🦾
You won't believe this, but I've been thinking about selling my Suzuki gt250k 1973 candy apple green and getting one of these Honda cb100s 8n gold or white and blue. That's a beautiful one, nearly as nice as my 250 . I'll give you a clean swap if you pay for the shipping for both bikes. Just kidding.....no but seriously.....I will. jon mccormick that was my first ever motorcycle Honda cb100 white tank with red & black accents i was probably only 10 still had to learn how to ride it but my cousin told my mom to get it for me because his friend was selling it for next to nothing and it was immaculate
I have a 1970 CL100 (There is also a CL100S 5hp version) in Brown. Need to stick a new kickstarter shafts in it (tried to file it) and there is an electrical short somewhere. They went from the slant 90cc to the more straight up 100. All these 2 valve ohc engines are pretty solid up to xr200/atc200 etc. 4 valve (RVFC) 250cc has a bit more power, but won't rev as high, and not as dependable or efficient as the 2 valve.
I am having idle issues with a friends 1972. My question now, is there any known problems with the throttle setup with these? Mine seems to be free flowing, but for some reason the idle sticks and will go back down as soon as i turn the idle screw down, but then i have to return the idle screw to its original position or else it will die. Hey kaptin dick smart here i dig that bike havnt been on the youtube they banned me for my comments i supose . im on the wardens tab cold out that is a cool scooter they are dening me critical in fo the chocolate pickles two wheels latter .

Great little bike Ken. I had a 1970 Candy Red CL 100 that I learned most of my tricks on back in the day, they are awesome! :)
I had the same CL100 but someone had put a huge sprocket on the back and welded some high pegs so you could go trials riding lol

as 17 yr olds in england these were common and even now dont look as good as this one does and they were newer then
