The Gaza Freedom Flotilla in 2010, organized by the Free Gaza Movement and the Turkish Foundation for Human Rights and Freedoms and Humanitarian Relief (İHH), was carrying humanitarian aid and construction materials, with the intention of breaking the Israeli-Egyptian blockade of the Gaza Strip. The flotilla included the Irish ship MV Rachel Corrie, loaded with aid from Ireland which Israel tried to sabotage. The ship continued but was eventually seized by Isreali special forces. The Gaza Freedom Flotilla in 2010, organized by the Free Gaza Movement and the Turkish Foundation for Human Rights and Freedoms and Humanitarian Relief (İHH), was carrying humanitarian aid and construction materials, with the intention of breaking the Israeli-Egyptian blockade of the Gaza Strip. The flotilla included the Irish ship MV Rachel Corrie, loaded with aid from Ireland which Israel tried to sabotage. The ship continued but was eventually seized by Isreali special forces. All the ships in the flotilla were stormed by the IDF and they killed 9 and wounded many others mostly Turkish citizens. 🇮🇪🇹🇷🇵🇸
