okay call me crazy but this sounds and feels like a mix of Louder than Bombs, Tomorrow and N.O. It gives off that HYYH vibes. Oh and speaking of the old bts feel, there are some that say "BTS lost their sound or touch". In my opinion they have not lost their touch. I mean in the recent albums (years) We have gotten many songs that sound like BTS, (Dis-ease, Blue and Grey, Life Goes On, Shadow, Black Swan, etc) They are BTS no matter how big they get. They have a established style and sound and will continue to do that in their music. Permission to Dance (as we heard from the members themselves) is not their song per say. It was written and produced by someone else. As much as i like the song and I will always support them i will admit that it was the first time i noticed that PTD did not sound like BTS. So I think HYBE needs to take a step back on catering to the Western Market and letting BTS do what they do best. No matter what, i will always support them and love them. ILY BTS FOREVER!!!!
I don't see PTD and Dynamite as their songs either, they were written and produced by other people and they don't sound like BTS at all. It doesn't suit them and their style, and it didn't seem like the members enjoyed it very much. It would've been okay if the songs were good, but they were just really bad and autotuned. I'm glad Namjoon said they were just trying to hit the charts with those English songs. The only thing that bothered me was how these songs gave people the image that BTS make bubblegum pop music, when in reality the majority of their music is a mix of r&b and hiphop. Namjoon, Yoongi and Hoseok are incredibly good writers, they don't need the foreign writers. HYBE should let them do what they're good at, though I do understand this is harder nowadays with their packed schedules. Yoongi and Namjoon also said they wanted to bring back their old hiphop style, so I'm really excited for that.
