Cronullas first try came from a penalty that never was. Ettinghausen took a dive and Harrigan fell for it. (Or took the opportunity to give Cronulla a penalty)
It's videos like this that made me think Ettinghausen was quicker than Offiah till I saw Ettinghausen interviewed and he categorically dismissed the idea.
@@connorduke4619 don't misunderstand me they were both fantastic players. I spent many years thinking ET was quicker only for the man himself, very humbly in my opinion, to say Offiah was faster. ET was a superb winger also.
@@iangregory54 Agreed. When I saw them play opposite each other in tests I could see that Offiah was clearly faster than ET but that ET's great anticipation and being 95% as fast was enough to cover him in defence. I distinctly recall a moment when ET had held Offiah tryless all series and was inexplicably substituted for Gary Belcher in a game while a scrum was being set. With his man marker gone, Offiah promptly scored off the scrum, running around Belcher as if he was not there. ;)
The first try from Offiah was fantastic
@@mufc3316 Yes but soccer is gay

Some absolute legends, and I MEAN legends of the game on show. Really enjoyed that. God knows where it came up on my feed. #wormholesonyoutube
That was some Wigan team
Cost some money as well
Always remembered that pressure kick from Botica. Clutch!

Another example of a bent Aussie referee!!..
Martin’s OnFire
Anyone got a link to the final?

ET made up for it though with hands, kicking, defence...

Offiah left hancock and renouf behind both losing ground, Et was fast but Offiah on his own there and elusive
Great game.
You have to give credit do Dougie Laughton for finding Martin offiah
Can still see him running up the wing in his black and white widnes top
Chariots!

Best in't world 🍒⚪
I was there and Cronulla threw it away
Cronulla look very disjointed, appalling
