Kenya Protests| Unhappiness with President Ruto's administration

Kenyan police fired teargas at dozens of protesters, while blocking off streets leading to the Presidential Palace, as small demonstrations continued in several cities.
On Wednesday, President William Ruto bowed to pressure and withdrew the tax hike bill.
Turnout was well down from the height of the mass rallies sparked by the bill over the past week.
On Tuesday, violent clashes left at least 23 people dead, after parliament was stormed and set alight.

Sad to hear of the deaths of 23 people. I don’t know why the police in Africa do resort to use live bullets on the citizens. On the other hand, there’s need for the protesters to protest peacefully since Ruto has heard the protest message & declined to sign the controversial financial bill. Kenya has been a peaceful country but the images of these protests might scare away many potential investors & tourists from coming to invest or tour this beautiful country if the protests continue to be violent. This is time for more dialogue with the greedy parliamentarians whom the people need to punish at the ballot box during your next election. Let believers everywhere pray for Kenya because a destabilised Kenya is a destabilisation of Africa
