Yeah, it's pretty funny how well they made Jaime fit into the silly Silver Age era despite being a modern character. I really missed when DC kids shows treated their audience with intelligence and respect instead of throwing out cheap cr*p that's pure bad comedy, like TTG or DC Super Hero Girls.

I was hoping you’d mention some notable footnotes like how Blue Beetle was going to be in Watchmen, but DC editorial chose to have a pastiche of him in the form of Nite Owl. Also, that the Ted Kord BB was created by Spider-Man co-creator Steve Ditko so the similarity in their design is not as much of a coincidence.

I think Jaime Reyes got lucky. Ted Kord imo could have easily broken through as a fan favorite even without Booster Gold. Multiple times Ted was supposed to make appearances in other media but couldn't due to legal issues.

I have a storyline that can make Blue Beetle significant like Spider-Man but this would make him a copy of Spider-Man Ok so the scarab would be like symbiote were the memories can connect on other universe and this would make it's so that the scarab can find a universe were the heroes are still starting up and they can conquer them and control them and then they'd attack the main DC universe and I think that'd be dope but that would make scarab a venom rip off hahahaha, what'd you all think?

Who knew all you needed to activate it was a Green Card. Jaime Reyes's so called popularity, is only due to the fact of more media exposure in the age of internet. In an alternate universe, Jaime is the Beetle that gets his head blown out. As for the upcoming movie...I predict Shazam box office numbers. Finally, comic characters almost never stay dead, and the POPULAR ones have multiple incarnations of them. Bat fam, Flash fam, Wonder fam, Super fam, ect. DC Comics is to blame for sloppy writing and consistent inconsistency of continuity. I should have done this video.
The decision to use the word 'fascist' to describe Batman in the movie trailer is questionable and may alienate some fans. While the creators of the film may have intended to generate controversy and interest in their movie, using loaded language to do so is unwarranted and completely inappropriate. As a fan of Blue Beetle in the comics and other DC media, I am disappointed by this choice and will not be watching the movie.
