Nice review. Yeah for $50 this set is nicely priced. Mine also came with bent weapons and honestly most of them had QC issues that I eventually had to fix myself with blue tak or glue. Aesthetically speaking, I think they look pretty great. Would've preferred a regular Arbiter instead of a camo one. But anyways, the issues I had were: Sgt Johnson's torso pops off and both he and Spartan Buck can't hold their weapons well. Arbiter's torso was ridiculously loose (blu tak solved this). And the rest of figures all had loose leg joints to some extent. I don't want to complain, but my previous Jazwares figures didn't have much, if any, QC issues so not sure what happened with this release. With the fixes, i'm glad to have them. But can't help but feel a bit disappointed in having to fix them myself.
We need more jazwares halo vehicles! I have more or less what the dimensions would be using the current Banished Ghost at 8.75 inches long 6.75 inches wide 3.75 inches tall (we can use this exact ghost as a base to make a covenant ghost), and the Mantis is at 11 inches tall 7 inches wide (legs) 11 inches wide (arms) 6 inches (side depth) ..as points of reference. So with these as points of reference... the Scorpion dimensions 14.25 inches long 9.5 inches wide 7 inches tall Anti vehicle Cyclops dimensions 6.5 inches tall 7 inches wide (arms) 5 inches wide (legs) Wraith (Banished & Covenant) dimensions 10.5 inches long 10.75 inches wide front 5 inches wide rear 7.5 inches tall (at mortar gun part) Banshee(Banished & Covenant) dimensions 6.5 inches tall 8 inches wide (wing tip to wing tip) 7 inches deep for cockpit 2.5 inches wide cockpit Phantom (banished & covenant)dimensions 17.5 inches long 8 inches wide 9 inches top to bottom Pelican dimensions 19 inches long 9 inches wide wingtip to wingtip 7.5 inches depth for bay area Halo 3 & Banished Scarab dimensions 24 inches (2 feet) tall 12 inches (1 foot) wide (leg to leg) 18 inches long (Main body head to butt) Edit: these aren't exact but they are close enough to fit everything in scale with world of halo. (also the Flood tank we currently have sadly is too short, it should be about 5.5 to 6 inches tall where right now is shorter than a Banished elite toy. Hopefully the fix the flood tank. Anyway, Hopefully we get all these and some other classic covenant and Banished characters like Hunters and CE elites. Hunters should be around 5.5 to 6 inches tall too.
i must have gotten lucky the only problem out of the two packs i got was one of the bucks had a misshaped crotch piece that did not allow me to pop him together
All the sgt Johnson's pop off. What I do to fix this is I sand down the middle piece down, after that, the wast can move around without the waist popping off.
Alright, these need to be 6 inch scale. As an adult collector I strongly dislike these little 4 inch limited detail/articulation ass figures. No child who plays with toys is asking their parents for sgt. Johnson from halo 1 or hell even Bucky. I can’t believe this and a 4 inch reach zealot is what they decided to drop. Idk why more people aren’t complaining about this.
A lot of 6 inch lines just feel plain, hollow and oversized to me. I collect 6inch and 4inch star wars figures and the smaller ones most of the time actually have better articulation, come with cloth capes instead of plastic ones, have way nicer face sculpts and better detail and they feel nicer overall to pose. 6 inch figures can be great but not if they're just a lazy worse looking figure than it's smaller counterpart.
For 50 its very good pack
