You were missed. Glad you’re ok. So glad you’re back.
That’s the kind of added value I want to add to my truck parts business when I get started
I’m here for the welding and hearing the perspective of a welder from Joisey 😂✌🏻
I'm glad that your back man I'm still in welding school and getting certified this coming week and I'm really excited for that and to celebrate an accomplishment. Also, I haven't gotten side work for a month and when I go and ask places like businesses hand over my card and if I could fix their fence, they want me to prove that I'm a registered business with liability insurance even after telling them I'm not, but they say it's the rules and won't hire me. Also, residential jobs that I advertise from craigslist customers are so cheap and don't want to pay the full price. But I hope to keep advertising and promote my side hustle and get more work like you Thanks.
Awesome I'm in a similar boat, just getting started
You'll get it, stick to your prices don't work for cheao
@@mcfwelding i will I also just got certified yesterday
I love all the information on how you got your materials, what you charged and how you got the contact. Very informative. I would've probably used grade 8 bolts simply due to salt being so corrosive (last longer), but yes grade 2 would hold if they stayed in good shape.
nice job!
Need some more videos enjoy watching you
Nice side gig! As far as the snow pushers, before I was lucky enough to escape hellinois to the wonderful state of Tennessee, I used to plow industrial facilities. One guy I worked my trucks and equipment with had me weld on attachment brackets to the box plows. This way we could hook the machine direct, without the bucket. I always hated having the plow in front of the bucket, it makes the machine footprint so much larger, and less maneuverability. It also created a lot of leverage and stress and there was more wear, tear and damage with the buckets. Maybe throw out that idea and you can get a lot more welding work. Also hit them up to build or repair the side shoes. The last company I welded for had a fleet of the Arctic Sectional Snow Plows. I welded 3/4" and 1" wear plates to the bottoms of the shoes. Those are ridiculously expensive and I saved him tons of money that way. I must have done 5 to 10 pallets of new shoes. Fun times! A lot of money in snow equipment repair. Stay safe!
He's Alive🙏🏻
Good price. Good job buddy thank you for sharing
Love Metal melting Anthony!!! Your doing great man keep it up
Paint them hot!!!! Nice work
I just found u not long ago , I have been going through the video's a couple a day . I did buy the corner squares form the guy because of u . Great job Todd
And just got them today , thanks
That's a fair price I live in California where everything cost 3 times more than anyplace else but you're doing good sometimes when I have spare time I'd get a piece of 1/4 x4 about 4ft long cut them to 4in square and drill the holes with my drill press but just to be occupied but I'd buy when I need to
Planning on making these but not as heavy duty to strap over the wheels for my sxs .
My Guy,Love the channel. We’re very similar , I live in Wisconsin and my side jobs come in waves also, i rather have side jobs locked in for everyother weekend but it doesn’t work that way. Alot of Plow truck and dump truck work. Great Channel, very relatable to most of us.
Glad to hear it!
Where about in Wisconsin. I'm in southeast, waukesha county, but from racine. Still have most of my friends/contacts down there.
@@JRsVsO Im in Milwaukee, near Mitchell International AirPort.
Bro yeah! Get that moneeeeeeeyyyyy!
Sorry for the double post but ya I want a good solid side hustle
Got it side hustle. My bad about the email was new to your channel and didn’t see that till after. ZC
If you're interested in taking the cleanliness of the finished part up a notch a masonary chisel works a charm at taking off that spatter that the wire wheel won't
Ayy bro you have a fixed lens welding hood? You could put your camera behind the hood and so then you could get arc shots and the viewers could see the weld puddle better
where did you get the D ring and the swivel part?
online, ebay
Do what you love and love what you do. I am curious how the mag drill is holding up. I am still wanting one.
its currently in pieces, probably going to buy a new one
@@mcfwelding Be sure to do a review when you do. I am thinking about Evolution brand.
Nice job was the welder set on 220 for this job?
Yes it was. I always run it on 220 when I'm in the garage
What are those pre-drilled plates called on eBay?
I just searched 4"x4" metal plates
Your gonna have a lot of work fixing his snow pushers lol
I have a shop across the street from a massive landscape company. The last two weeks have been snow box repairs and bucket repairs.... we havent even had snow yet.
Were the parts supplied to you already cut and drilled?
Yup I ordered them that way
How are the legalities with those in the USA? Here in Europe, every lifting tool (I think these would count) you need to test every one with 2x WWL, they can bend, but need to return to original shape and then test 1 from every batch to test with 3x WWL, it can lose shape but cannot fail during the test.
They are not for lifting they're for load sucurement.
Usa is not what you thought jaja
MIG = PUSH... Bro.
Still holding on 🤷♂️
@@mcfwelding Well, that’s good. 🍺
You can do either
Been mig welding for 20+ years and that’s just not true.
I do both
